An astounding game; some people claim that luck wins the game, yeah, right....To win, you need to plan your moves like chess and other stratigical games, hope you get the right die number (that's the only part in which luck plays), and viciously ahnnialate the other player...sound fun? Well it is a whole lot more fun then sitting here writing this review, and I love writing. Overall, it's a great game that deservs a sequil, or perhaps "Modern Risk," with tanks and M-80 machine guns turrets....Customer Review: [Risk]

Risk is Great!! As you prababaly already know,u are trying to take over the world.There is a lot of luck involved,but also strategy.To attack tell who you are attacking and roll the dice(From 1 to 3 dice).The defender rolls too(From 1 to 2 dice) and whoever has the highest number wins(If you roll a 5 and the defender rolls 1-4, you win) then u move your troops into the teritory.Risk is a fun game best played with 4-6 people.(it can be 2-6 players)HINT: CAPTURE THE AMERICAS AND YOU CAN WIN VERY EASILY

Help! I wanted to introduce my children to the Joy of Risk, but I see that they have "improved" this classic game. While the additional breakdown of military forces may add interest to older children and adults, it adds complexity to what was a fiendishly simple game, playable by much younger children. I guess I am left to search antique stores and the web for a copy of the old version. Unfortunately, the computer version (of the original Risk) I have is much too easily defeated for real enjoyment.Customer Review: An Amazing Game

In this game you'll need to have lots of strategy and maybe a little luck. You have scattered armies on different global territories, and advance and battle your enemies. When I play with my friends lots of times we are trying to rule 1 continent at a time. Maybe it will take a while to get all the rules in your head so don't play with young kids. Great for a family game night, you can finally get revenge on your evil sister, and still ally with your twin. In short, an amazing game.Customer Review: risk is fun, but not a repeat

when i played risk my friend went and taught me.of course he always won. risk is all about war and luck. the first time you play risk is really ffun.but afterawhile its all the same conquer the world and be the best.the reason why it is a little educational because it teaches strategy a little. its not that durabel because you could loose those tiny solders in the carpet. risk is fun to play but it is the game you shouldnt buy. risk is good to play at a friends house ,not buy itt.
