Customer Review: Great game for teen boys on a Saturday night

This is one of those games that can go hours and hours.It can be fun, or a real drag if you get stuck in the begining with a few lousy countries/territories and the other players gang up on you.
This is definitely not a good child/adult game or even a good game for fun party play, it takes too much time and several players always end up losing early on, leaving the other players, sometimes just two of them, going back and forth for a long time.
It's a good strategy war based game, it just needs to be played with the right crowd.

This game is fun! I first played it 5 years ago when i was 9 and it was awesome! The reason i only gave it a four for fun was because it takes a long time and isnt fun unless you have at least three. This game was educational in a way, it helped with world geography and names of Cont. and oceans. I would buy this game if you have a lot of time on your hands or live in an area where there is a lot of rainy days. I recommend another, similar game called stratego, it only takes 2 people to play and much faster, only about 30-60 mins.Customer Review: Group Stratego Game

Love Chess & Stratego? If so, then Risk should be your choice for groups.I have been playing Risk for years now and I never get bored. Very challenging... entertaining & strategic!
It's all about how to play with strategy with a group of people, build allies and enemies.
Yes, the dice luck should be with you to defend your terrotories or attack another to achieve your goals... but still if you don't have a good strategy, you'd lose!
This game would have so much fun & challange if you play it with smart challanging players[...]

This is the best stratgey game I have ever played. I have been playing for two years now and it hasn't gotten old yet. It's easy to learn and a challenge to master. It's fun to try and learn all the different stratigies on holding contients. It's fun to play for hours and hours though people that dont like long board games may get bored after a while. It is best played with the most players availble. As everyone says the more the merrier. Though there are many differnt types of Risk I must say the original is the best.Customer Review: Great Game!

Risk is one of the greatest board games ever, in the same league as Monopoly and Clue. It takes a little while to understand and set up, but once you start playing, you just have to finish the game! Risk is really fun for all ages; adults can play too. The little army cannons, horses, and men luckily come in their own plastic boxes, so they are not so easy to lose.The only bad thing I can think of is the time it takes to set up a game. (Almost an hour)
Risk is definitely one of my favorite board games.
