We play this game all the time and love it! Our five-year old caught on right away even though the suggested age is 8+. So, don't hesitate to get this if your child/children are younger. I bought this game for the first time 25 years ago and my children enjoyed it for years. Now my grand-daughter and I play every time she comes to visit me. She is so hooked I bought 4 new versions of the game so whether she is at mom's, dad's, her aunt's or granny's she can play her favorite game. Rack-O is a simple, yet fun card game to play. My dad even won 5 hands in a row and he is usually really bad at games. The game states that the 1st player to reach 500 points wins, but this could take a while to reach to, especially if you play with four players. This game is educational because the numbers are used with subtraction and addition. I like this game because it is alot of fun. This helps my little brother with his math and we have fun at the same time. My Dad is the best Rack-o player in my family. I fail to understand why this game is now difficult to find in stores. It is fun to play with children, or in adult competitions. Since some measure of luck is involved, children can compete well with adults, making it a fun family night game. My mother enjoyed beating me as an 80+.
