Racko has an extremely simple premise that lets you get started right away (put the cards in numeric order - it sounds so easy), but there's enough strategy (which cards should I leave? which cards should I take?) and opportunity to antagonize opponents to keep the rabidly competitive interested.
After buying this for myself and becoming addicted, I gave everyone from age 12 to 90 Racko for Christmas this year, and they're all hooked on it.

I won't sit and explain the rules of this game because they are very simple. What I will say is that this game is one that the whole family can enjoy. Other than the cards eventually wearing out, it is a vrey durable game. I have enjoyed Rack-O for a long time, and if you haven't ever purchased this game, I must tell you that you are really missing out. Give it a try. I'm sure you won't be sorry!

Customer Review: Mom enjoys this game more than the kids

Bought this for my 6 year old after reading some of the reviews. She definitely doesn't get it. My 9 year old doesn't have the attention span for it, and my 11 year old seems to not be able to quite get her head around the strategy required to play (I beat her every time, and I'm feeling bad about it!).
Fun game for this mom (that's why it has 4 stars), just not right (yet) for my kids (when it is, I may have to update to 5 stars).

I purchased this game thinking our 8 year old son could play along with us. He played 2 rounds with us but soon became frustrated with the tricks of the game. So then my husband and I kept playing, just the two of us, and it was really a fun game for adults! When my son was playing we enjoyed reading the facts printed on the cards aloud and learning new things. This is a great game for 2-4 players! Our family loves this game and this is one of the few outlets to buy it however, this will be my last order to Amazon because they advertised free delivery then they said they had to charge me because it came FROM ANOTHER COMPANY!! That's baloney and the cost for the game was more than I paid for the last one I ordered two months ago and the delivery charges were almost as much as the game!!!!That's it for me on this site.
