Toys and Games Reviews of Rack-O Card Game

Customer Review: Racko is a very fun game!
Summary: 5 Stars

RACKO is a game for 2 to 4 people. The object of the game is to go "RACKO" - having all 10 cards in your rack in consecutive order. You accomplish this by drawing and discarding cards on your turn. When somebody goes "RACKO" everybody counts how many points they have. You get 5 points for each card you have in your rack that goes in order from low to high starting from the bottom, and whoever goes "RACKO" gets an additional 25 points. If the person who goes "RACKO" has any runs of 3 or more cards, they get additional bonus points. First person to 500 points wins.

RACKO is very fun, and involves a lot of strategy. The rules are simple enough that kids can enjoy the game as well, making RACKO a fun game for the entire family.

Customer Review: Family and Classroom game -Lots of fun For all -
Summary: 5 Stars

My family loves this game. It is easy to learn but has a lot of critical thinking skills also. I use in my middle school classroom too. Students love it. My honors students get very competitive and it is easy enough for the shorter attention span of my remedial student. The strategy of getting the cards in order can is easy to learn but hard to master. A round can easily fit into that extra 20 minutes in class.

In my remedial classes, I have made decks of fractions or decimals that replace the whole number cards once the class has learned the rules. This is a skill that we sometimes have difficulty with and this way is fun.

I would definitely put RACKO on my top ten list of games.

Customer Review: Fun for the whole family!
Summary: 5 Stars

Racko is a great game! I remembered playing this as a kid and had originally bought it for myself at a store in my hometown. After I purchased it, I then purchased it for my mom who loves playing it as well. My nephews (age 8) then played the game with my mom, loved it and requested it for their birthday so they could add it to game night with their family. This is a fun game that appeals to both adults and children. Great for kids as you learn the order of numbers. The new updated version (compared to when I had owned it as a kid) has a new twist - with green cards that add some fun challenging options (like trading cards with others or switching cards in your rack). I would recommend this game to anyone!

Customer Review: Racko Shown in Picture IS NOT the Racko game they'll send you,,,unfortunately
Summary: 3 Stars

I ordered the Racko game shown in the picture. Unfortunately, the RACKO game sent to me was made by a different company than the RACKO pictured and the one I thought I'd be getting. The one sent had none of the green colored cards that allow for players to switch cards with opponents, switch cards within their own rack, switch opponents cards and take extra turns. The one sent was BORING...only numbered cards, all the same colors with the potential to only be put in numerical order. The green cards are what makes this game fun. Beware...what you see IS NOT what you'll get. I sent the games back. If they had sent the one pictured, I'd have been happy. That's the original RACKO game.

Customer Review: Rack-O Card Game
Summary: 4 Stars

Years ago we had a Rack-O card game and the cards were about worn out, so I wanted to replace the cards. Ordered this game and at once noticed that there has been a slight difference in how the game is played. I didn't know if I liked it at first, but came to like it even better as it is a bit more challenging for the players, although the basic outcome of the game remains the same - to put the numbers 1 through 60 in chronological order. We have gotten our friends hooked on it and they bought a game for their family. It is fast and easy to whip out for a quick game - doesn't take a lot of skill or knowledge to play - just basic knowledge of putting numbers in order.
