This is a prime example of a big name toy company loosing their reputation. The truck was bought to go with the magnetic crane (sold separately). It looking ideal for children interested in constuction. I thought that because it was "Tonka" I would get good quality and structure. I was wrong. The truck is made of thin plastic parts. The seat doubles as a handle so if you want to ride and vacuum up the blocks you have to take the seat up to get them which is hard for an adult let alone a toddler. And the crane attachment is just as difficult and unsturdy as the truck. I would have been cheaper off by buying the push truck at the dollar store and probably would have had a better made and more fun toy. I feel like I cheaped a little boy out of a chirstmas gift because I know that it will be in the next yard sale or donation.Customer Review: Play with it every day

We received two of these trucks as first birthday presents for our twin boys. They started out with the seat up, pulling up and pushing the trucks around. Eventually they learned to use the trucks with the seat down with us pushing them, then finally learned to push themselves. We do not have the steering wheel, the boys can make plenty of their own noises! The wheels don't turn, but the boys learned how to shift their weight and move the trucks. They race each other around our kitchen island using these trucks every day, even now that they are 2 1/2 years old. They work well on our porch as well. We also have Cozy Coupes, and the boys use both sets of vehicles every day. They never cared about the shapes or scooping them up. This has definitely been a winner in our household.Customer Review: Excellent toy!

My son recieved this truck last christmas, we waited unitl he was about 5 months old to let him use it! He loved it and at about 8 months old we took a gamble and turned up the handle to see if he would stand amd push it and he took off walking (he was cruising, walking along holding onto the couch and stuff, at around 7 months)!!! It was amazing! By 8 1/2 months old he was walking on his own, and might I tell you he is a BIG boy weighing at least 22 pounds then! I really feel that this toy really was the catalyst to his early walking, he still plays with this toy to this day (14 Months)!Customer Review: Street Sweeping Truck Ride On with storage compartment

Fantastic toy for kids 3 and under. IT comes with a few colored blocks that kids drive over to be sweep up by the street cleaning brush. The seat is slightly tricky to remove as you have to push in to buttons on opposite sides of the seat to remove the blocks for sweeping up over and over, It would have been much better and easier if the seat would pivot open like a lid. Other tan that, it is a solid safe toy, I bougth 2 of them for my 2 year old niece and nephew. They love it. My 4 year old mephew also rides on it, although he has to bend his knees a bit more.A great buy at $10.00 EACH.Customer Review: Not that great

My son received this as a gift for Christmas when he was 9 months old. He was interested in the little blocks and did like to push it around. He also enjoyed sitting on it and pressing the buttons. Now that he is older- almost 2, he does all the same things but does not ride on it at all. The steering wheel does not control the wheels so it is a little awkward. The toy is well made but I think it is overrated. I would get rid of it if my husband would let me.
