I purchased this for my 2 year old son, thinking the adjustible height would be big enough. However, the "arm" only adjusts approx. 2 inches. My son had to bat down at the ball and pretty much just used the bat to destroy the unit. I would recommend this only for a child younger than 12 months as my friend received this as a gift for her 15 month old son and again, it is too small for him as well. The lights and sound/music are a nice option, but for a younger child.Customer Review: Annoying toy

My son does seem to like this toy, but as the other reviewers said he recieved it as a gift at 1 year old and he was already to tall for it. It is very annoying b/c it says only like 3 or 4 phrases over and over! And it is random so if you hit it hard it may not be a homerun, it will throw out random phrases like "you hit a double". It is a decent toy I guess b/c my son likes it alright, but watch out as a parent it really gets on my nerves! :)Customer Review: Not for tall or standing babies

This toy is great! Thanks to it, my 16 month old son now loves to say "WOW!". He even likes hitting it just to hear it say it, and to watch it go around. But the downside to it, is its very short. Even thought he is a very tall boy, it would still be too short for an average sized standing baby. It only adjusts about 3 inches taller. Its more of a toy for sitters. This product would be wonderful for my son except it is TOO SHORT! They advertise it is appropriate for up to 36 months, and my son just turned two and a half. The height adjustment is a joke, only lifts an inch up. The bat is too small for him too. If it lifted up higher and was more steady when hit it could have been a great toy. This is a very cute, fun toy that not only can be for toddler boys but can be for toddler girls. It is adjustable to different heights to toddler and so much fun for the little child. There is a fun loud "announcer" that makes this toy fun for the child. "Play Ball!!" & other fun announcements.
I fully recommand this toy. You will smile and laugh as your child haves fun.
