Customer Review: Stability Aside, This Toy Is Just Fine

Playskool's Swing N' Score Baseball toy is a fun toy for youngsters aged nine months and up. I wouldn't expect children over the age of two years to find much use for this toy. It lights up when kids touch homeplate or swing the ball around on its post. My son, who just turned twelve months, prefers to hit at the ball with his hands more than the bat. He does enjoy swinging the bat around, however, but not at the ball. He enjoys the music and the lights also.
The only complaint that I have about this toy is the stability. If your little one has a decent swing, the toy will move around rather easily and possibly even fall over. Others have complained about the heighth of the toy, but I don't see it as a problem until the child grows a bit taller. This product is suggested for children over nine months, but it doesn't say anything about three and four year olds playing with it.
For what it is and when used within its age range, this is a fun toy that will provides hours of giggles for kids.
