Customer Review: Treacherous little booby trap
Summary: 2 Stars
The concept seems great: Bump the toy, it flaps its wings and rolls away. Great at first and our daughter actually did follow it for a bit. Problem is, it moves in a straight line and will trap itself in a corner after one or two cycles. Unless a parent walks over, bends down, picks it up and points it back out into the room, it will flail helplessly for a few minutes looking ridiculous and sounding pathetic as the wings crank against the wall.
A bigger problem is that it will eventually settle down and go into sleep mode...with the power switch still ON. At this point, your nursery has become a minefield. Some evenings later you will enter the room hoping to put a sleeping baby down for the night. On your way to the crib, you WILL trip over this toy and it WILL roar to life, turning a quiet night into Mardi Gras and waking your little one.
