I got the "Busy Gears" for my 18 month old granddaughter and my friend got one for her 9 month old grandson. Both of those ages loved this toy. Not only that, but my 4 year old grandson spent the whole time "helping" his little sister with it!
This toy is well made, keeps the child's interest and still provides a challenge of moving or stacking the gears. It's not one of those toys that a child just has to sit and LOOK at....it is one that a child will keep going back to play with. I highly recommend it!

My son got this toy for his 1st Birthday! It has been one of his favorites since we brought it home! He loves to move the gears around, stack them, throw them (like any 1 year old), and likes the music. It doesn't have a volume button, but I can tune things out pretty well and so it doesn't bother me. Just be sure that you change the switch from DEMO to PLAY when you buy it. It's a sturdy toy. We've had it for 3 months and nothing has happened to it. I high suggest this toy! Great source of entertainment :)Customer Review: Great, hands-on fun!

I bought this item for a gift and found out my own little boys would have rather had me keep it for them. The lights are great along with the movement of the gears. It will keep any little person about 1yr- even 7yrs. old busy for a long while. I think I'll be buying another one of these very soon for my boys. Only down side is that there is no storage bag for the gears which can come off and you have to keep track of them. Also I have only been able to find this online here. My 1 year daughter loves this toy! She had it since she was 8 months. When she first got it, she would press the start button, and when the gears started going, she would get scared. Then after a while, she got used to it, and started dancing to the music. Then after a month or so, she learned how to take the gears off. Then after another month, she learned how to put the gears back on. Now she hides the gears everywhere. It's a toy that provides the child to play with it in various ways.Customer Review: Great entertainment!

My 10 month baby boy loves this toy. He has really enjoyed it since he was 7 months and still plays with it every day. He likes to dump the gears off of the toy and chew on them. The gears make a motor noise when they turn and the machine plays two songs I think. He also likes to stick his fingers in between the gears while they move to stop them, which does not hurt at all. He will play with it for 10-15 minutes straight, which is a long time for him to be engrossed in one toy.
