This toy is great! Other reviewers mentioned the noise being a bit disconcerting, however my daughter hates the vacuum but doesn't mind the toy one bit. Right now she loves pressing the lady bug and throwing the alligator. She plays with the balls and tries to pick up the toy and walk off with it. The best part: she loves to self entertain with this toy. It keeps her interested for a good 30 minutes at a time, not including the time she takes to toss the balls and chase them around the room. This is actually the second one we have bought. The first was for my nephew who uses it every day and he loves it. The second is for my younger niece and she also loves it. The nephew loves to take everything apart and then play with the air holes, or sit on it or put his feet in the big ring holding the balls. So I think from him doing all this and flipping it over and dropping it that it is a hard, durable, safe and fun toy. He also loves to hear the animal sounds and such when you constantly push on the ladybug.Customer Review: Never gets tired of it

I got this when my son was 6 mos, he was little for it but he enjoys the sounds, later when he started to crawl, he loved to push it around on the carpet and knock down the animals, at 10 mos he got how to start it and could not stop. Now at 13 mos he loves to take the balls out and put them back in especially in the one little hole that takes skills to understand. He is so proud when he gets that one out of the hole, he puts it back and start over. He plays with it a little everyday. Great toy, Great gift!Customer Review: my son was mildly entertained

It's a nice durable toy the only thing is the lil monkey and croc on top are not secure and my 7 month old son really didn't have the attention span to place them back on the base over and over. I'm almost think it's better suited for a toddler but all babies are different. If you play with the toy with your child they will like it because it needs activation to make it spin and make noise but if your getting it as a toy that they will play with by themselves I don't think it's enough to hold their attention.Customer Review: Dumb toy...but he loves it!

I got this toy for my son when he was about 7 months old. When I pulled it out of the box I thought it looked like a piece of junk and a waste of money. The pieces all kept falling off, the music was annoying and it just looked like a loser toy. However, right from the start it was my sons favorite toy! He can sit there or stand there for ages, bouncing up and down, smiling and laughing. Even now, 5 months later he still loves it. Probably the best buy we have made, although I still think it's dumb!
