My son loves his play-doh. If he could he would play with it for hours everyday. Problem is, mommy is not always up for it. The cut-outs are great. There is so much to do. It is as much fun as I remember it being as a child. Only bad thing is, I don't remember the smell being so bad or being so hard to clean up. Must be because I always left that for my mom to do. Well worth the money plus. It is a cheap, fun, educational toy that doesn't beep, sing, or use batteries.Customer Review: Truly A Barrel of PlayDoh Fun

We bought this item for my 3 year old, who has just discovered PlayDoh, as a birthday gift. It is far superior to anything we were able to purchase locally at our major retailers ~ the shapes and colors are great, and not all food related, which was a plus for us, since we are discouraging the eating of PlayDoh, for obvious reasons.
I would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a great starter set for their little ones to learn to love Play Doh.

Play doh is a perennial favorite among preschoolers, and my two year old is no exception. This set of six colors comes with a handy plastic jug that holds a variety of shapemakers to use with the play doh. When other preschoolers come over to play, this is usually one of the first toys they want to play with. The playdoh itself, like all playdoh, became dry and crumbly from overuse, but additional playdoh can be purchased just about anywhere for a reasonable price.Customer Review: Excellent but messy!

My son just received this a few weeks ago and absolutely loves it.
He's about 2 1/2 and can play with it for quite a while - he loves to make little balls and spaghetti which he can then cut with scissors or make shapes with the provided molds. There is a wide variety of shapes and molds - so they have hours of fun!
Just make sure to have them play on a clean surface - not over a carpet, since it can be a pain to clean ...

We bought this toy for our 7 children last Christmas and they are STILL playing with it! If they are bouncing off of the walls, I can always bring out the play-doh bucket and they are quiet for at least 45 minutes, which is priceless. The bucket is durable and it's very easy to just toss everything in and screw on the lid when they're done.
