Customer Review: Waste of money for younger children
Summary: 3 Stars
We have two boys, one 2 1/2 and the other 3 1/2. When I saw 36 months as the lower recommended age, I figured this must be somewhat durable. We immediately had to get rid of the cardboard background because it wouldn't stay in place. Also know that the base (looks like sand) and the ship do not lock together. The ship has notches and simply sits on the pegs of the base but they are in no way secure to each other. So when they try to put the pieces back on the boat (cutting wheel, plank), the set falls apart. The little Pablo figure that comes with it has been the biggest hit of this playset. I wouldn't recommend it for younger children.
