Toys and Games Reviews of Perfection

Customer Review: Shape placing fun!
Summary: 4 Stars

A game that i remember playing is here again for the next generation. it still uses no batteries (YAY) and still has 25 odd shapes to place in the time frame, allowing kids to learn more about making the right match in the designated time.

do be mindful that if your child is senstive to pop sounds or is easily startled that this game may be intimidating. it still can be played of course without the timer until they are ready. it also opens up chances to talk about the less common shapes.

Customer Review: A shape-sorter game that's fun for even little ones.
Summary: 5 Stars

I loved this game as a child, and saw it anew as a mother. It's a great game even for children as young as 4 -- it's just a shape-sorter with a timer. Another nice thing about this game is that the kids can play it together, and they play to "beat the board," rather than each other. (While I believe kids need to learn how to win graciously and lose with dignity when they play competitive games, it's nice to have a break from that, and give them a chance to play as a team against a common "enemy.")

Customer Review: A Classic!
Summary: 5 Stars

I loved this game as a kid, so I was very happy when my daughter recieved one as a gift for her 5th birthday recently. We were bummed when we opened it and discovered it was broken! Turns out a couple screws were missing, so we just got another one and it's been fine. We both love to do it together, so we are sure to beat the timer, and we take turns doing it alone as well. We both crack up when it pops up! Even my 3 yr old son likes to try and fit the shapes! A must have for Family Game Night! :o)

Customer Review: Another childhood memory post- but not bogus
Summary: 5 Stars

As many have posted, I also enjoyed this toy as a child and thought my 5 yr old would love it too. Well...it's a hit! It's basically how I remember it, and I had to do it a few times to beat the timer. The little one is still trying to beat the timer, but it is almost as much fun to lose on this game.

Yes, the parts are a little cheaper than what you may remember, but so is just about everything else you buy now. No batteries to replace, a cute and fun quick thinking game.

Customer Review: Thanks for ruining my childhood, Hasbro. :(
Summary: 1 Stars

I loved this game when I was a kid. I bought it for my five-year-old daughter for christmas and it didn't work. I guess I should have tried it out before wrapping it, but you assume that something will function properly when its brand new. Pieces are all there, but the timer doesn't run, which kind of defeats the purpose of the game. A big disappointment. No wonder people just play videogames these days. Could just be a dud, and I'll try to replace it, but still a disappointment.
