Toys and Games Reviews of Perfection

Customer Review: still as fun now as it was when we were kids
Summary: 5 Stars

Even younger children can improve their concentration by trying to fit all these pieces in the correct slots. I thought my 4 year old would be discouraged by the time running out, but actually most kids think it's fun when the pieces explode, even if that means they are "losing." By helping your kids the first few times and then letting them try it seems to be the best way to get them interested. I still found it as much fun as it was when I was young. Probably best for 5 and up, but even younger kids will enjoy trying to fit the pieces in. If you don't want the "stress" for little kids, just have them put the pieces in without pushing down the board and using the timer!

Customer Review: Classic toy--lots of fun--quality not as good as it used to be!
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a great game for kids and adults alike. It's exciting for kids to try an beat the clock before the "scare" of the pop. It's a great classic. I just wish the quality the same as it used to be.

The plastic is thin and flimsy, and our board doesn't always stay down during play. And to top it all off, the timer stops part way through and has to be "nudged" to keep it moving. We'll see how the replacement game fares when it arrives.

All in all, however, the kids love the game. When I mentioned that it doesn't work right, the kids say, "Yeah, but it's fun." So I guess that sums it all up.

Customer Review: Fun Game
Summary: 5 Stars

I had this game in the early 80's when I was a kid. I happened to see it on Amazon and thought my daughter would love it. She got it for Christmas and has played with it tons since then!! See even had her babysitter playing it! What I really love best about this game is unlike most board games you don't need 2-4 players, she can just play by herself (which I love).... or sometimes we have competitions to see who gets the fastest time. Fun game and seems to be very durable with a nice little storage compartment on the bottom for all the pieces.

Customer Review: Love Perfection!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this for my kids and find that this is still the great game I remember from my childhood!! You set the timer and try to fit all the differently shaped pieces into their adequate spaces BEFORE the time dings and the pieces all jump back out their holes. Sounds simple and easy but it is a lot of fun. We had some family visiting during the holidays and I believe everyone from age 5 to 51 played it at least once!! The kids just love to beat the adults. You just have to be careful not to lose any of those little pieces!

Customer Review: Great fun for all of us!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have a 3 year old daughter who is exceptionally good at shape sorting, so I bought this to give her a challenge. We have a great time as a family, putting all of the little shapes where they belong. My daughter is a little hesitant with the timer and the mechanism that pops at the end, but she likes it. She sometimes will request to sort the shapes without having them pop. It's a great game and we laugh all the time we play it! It does have that 'jack-in-the-box effect' on younger kids, though!
