Customer Review: I never thought I'd write a review for a Ouija board but...

First off, a Ouija board is not a toy! I have not really used one seriously since around 1989. I can tell you that several absolutely unexplainable things happened of which I will not go into too much detail in this particular forum. While all of the things that happened were freaky, one in particular involved driving to a location that the board spelled out for myself and my girlfriend (at the time). We didn't know if the address actually existed but thought we'd go there since it wasn't too far away if it really did exist (this was before the days of the Internet when I could have looked it up on Yahoo or Mapquest). When we got there, we could not believe that the address was real, but neither of us was willing to get out of the car and knock on the door (looking back, I almost wish we had). When we got back to her place, the first thing the board spelled out was, "I saw you outside my window." This is not a joke. This happened and it is one of several incidents. My girlfriend got scared and didn't want to play anymore and I've not really touched the board since. I can't explain the things that happened. I only know that several unexplainable things occurred and that I am telling the truth. The unknown is fun and exciting, but it can also be scary and dangerous! To the "Evangelical Christian" - Demons do not possess people, people get schizophrenia. Just because a previous poster made some spelling and grammatical errors does not mean he/she is twisted or possessed.
Throughout the progression of human history, many religions have been invented and faded away. The model of Christianity will do but the same in this age of reasoning. It's has always been "The end times". The world is not going to end soon, unless hit by an asteroid or some other cataclysmic event, all not related to Jesus or any God because they've happened before and they'll happen again.
The necessity for hell was invented because people normally wouldn't listen to what you have to say - but should Jesus "appear" tomorrow, you'd probably be just as afraid of him as you would the devil.
About magic - the bible is full of it, so that is basically what Christianity is tantamount to ... The very thing you fear.
I've tried Ouija boards before and they just don't work for me. It could be that I'm just not possessed enough for the demons to talk through me, or factually, it could be that if you don't believe in something (i.e. Ouija Boards, Christianity) it just doesn't work.

Ight check it i got a ouija bored for christmas 2003 i wanted it way before then .well at least i acted like to my family and friends well any way when i first got it i was a lil scared but the more i played the more i got into it .it not my place to judge wheather the ouija bored is evil or sent from the angels above but 1 thing i do no is that it is real and no joke you cant come on the bored with negetivity on your mind because u bring evil around you always keep an open mind .If u have positive thoughts on your mind then positive will come from the bored another thing if u think u comeing to the bored for greed and lottery numers u have another thing coming.the last time i played i got kinda freak out though it was telling me some crazy stuff like how he was a bad sprit and stuff but i didnt jump and get all scared i stayed calm i talk to him and i been nice and he gave me a offical good bye so sometimes dont get too freaked out about things and always say goodbye nicely regardless of wat was said.another thing is dont take there answers to the heart because sometimes they lie to you either for the better or the worst.SO REMEBER DONT BE GREEDY BECAUSE GREED ISNT A GOOD AND ONLY BRING THE WORST OF LIKE . I have to agree that a large majority of cases in connection with QuiJa boards are psychological. Many people with bad experiences usually become so frightened they end up mentally unstable.
However, there are reported cases of suicidal-like deaths that scientists/investigators simply cannot explain. Most of these result with "VERDICT: Suicide/accident". It is also true that a lot of these cases go unreported (the same goes with rollercoaster fatalities as an example).
A modern pyschological magician "Derren Brown" carried out a seance in one of his shows (2004 if i can remember), trying to convince us that "contacting with evil spirits" are tricks of the mind. But let me tell you that it was all staged, everybody involved were actors (unofficially revealed).
The bottom line is NEVER try a Quija board or similar activity whether you are religious or not whatever the circumstanes (fun, leisure, curiosity). I know some of these reviews are pure hoaxes and i am certainly NOT attempting to scare-off anyone.
But a word of advice: "some things are better left alone". Anyone considering buying or making a Quija board and playing the game should really THINK TWICE. Enough said.

I'm surprised that someone didn't think of making a glow-in-the-dark Ouija board long before this one came out. My only complaint is that both the board and the planchette are a bit smaller than standard- if you are comfortable with the standard board then this can definitely be a bit distracting. It will hold a "charge" for approximately 30 minutes. Once again, if you are not used to time limits on your sessions, then this can also prove distracting. My advice is to keep the candles handy.
The talking board is only a tool- neither good nor evil. However, it is a tool far different from divination aids such as the tarot, runes, or the various I Ching methods. With all talking boards you are openly inviting the influence of disembodied entities. Be very careful what you are opening the door to. I wouldn't even consider using it without deep and sincere prayers for protection. Low-level spirits can only influence those who are "vibrating" on the same low level. Examine your motives and your maturity before you experiment here.
To some people tarot cards are just paper, to some this will just be plastic and fiberboard. YOU bring the vital component to the table. It all depends on your sensitivity and connection to the other side.
