Toys and Games Reviews of Ouija Board Glow-in-the-DarkCustomer Review: Good game for a rainy day Summary: 5 Stars
This is probably one of the most strangest things I've ever bought myself for a birthday present. It's a fun game with a bunch of friends to try it out; if nothing else it's a good conversation starter with guests. It's not Satanic or evil; it's merely a tool and completely depends on the people using it.
It's a fairly harmless game if it is respected and not overused. I recommend not asking it the same questions over and over again because the unseen force may not like that. I also recommend praying a prayer of protection before and after using the board as a safety concern for the super religious fanatics; however I doubt that it will possess anyone as I've used it many times and I've never been possessed.
If anyone asks it a question that needs to be spelled out, I would be a little leery of the spelling and grammer as sometimes the stuff spelled out doesn't make any sense at all. Also I've found that some people can't work the board at all while others can work the board; I can work the board by myself if I wanted to but it's not as fun without the other people.
Overall, I would treat the board very gently and make sure that the pegs on the slider don't fall off. After a lot of play for almost 5 months, one of the pegs fell out of my slider along with the clear window of the slider. This game can also be played with a pendulumn, which I will be getting soon for my ouija board.
Customer Review: Been there done that! Summary: 1 Stars
When I was a kid my mother bought me one of these. WE (my friends and sisters) played with it many times. Sometimes it did not seem to work at all. There was one night that it worked so well we thought that one of us must be directing the game. We got answers to all kinds of questions that night. We wrote down some of the answers and put the paper away. About a year later my mom told us that we were going to move to another state in about a month. She gave us some of the info about where we would move to and when we would be going. After I told my friend that I was going to move out of state. She reminded me that we had asked the game about us moving the year before.
So I dug out my keep sake box and found the answer list.
There it was
Moving? Answer = YES!
What state? Answer = Letters AL ( which happend to match the state we moved to!
What city? Answer = Letters P G ( Which is the letter in the name of the city we did move to!
It also gave the date the move was to take place but we miss moving on that date by two days because our car broke down! Oh BTW we never told our Mom or Dad. It freaked us out so bad !
DEVIL TOY?
NOT sure I would call it that but for us this thing showed us that you never know what can happen when you mess around with the unknown!!!!
I won't buy this one for my kids! Not touching it with a ten foot poll!!!! Forget it!
Customer Review: ouija board contact to the world bejond Summary: 4 Stars
ouija board is a wonderfull way to contact spirits. it might not work the first time your using it.. but be patient... there will be an answer soon... please dont play it alone...( to dangerous...) and its always better to burn some protection incense.. cast a circle or even wear a pentalce for protection....if you got the feeling the beeing isnt nice... then send him away by simply saying: thanks you for beeing our guest. now im sending you back to your world........ then wait a little put the board away and start again..... while playing try not to cross your legs because it might block the flow of energy.. its also always good to have a white candle lit. keep unwanted noises away such as tv. doorbell ect. play this game with respect of the otherworld.... always ask for the name first....( for the name in his her last incarnation on earth.. if you dont ask specific it might show you a name wich doesnt make sense in our world......)....sometimes there will be also personal messages...its always good to have someone to write it down.. you might not understand the first time you hear it .. but it might makes sense in the future....... to the end always make shure you send the beeing away with saying thank you for your help.. thanks for beeing here. now you have to go back where you belong.... in light and love.... from white raven.. may the spirits be with you........
Customer Review: Not Happy Summary: 2 Stars
I was so excited to try this out. I thought the glow in the dark aspect would be a super enhancement feature to the game. Also, I have been on Roymicin since the holidays because I had this nasty bacterial infection of my eyes. I thought the combination of the two would give me a paranormal effect that I'll never forget. So I finally get the game out of the package. I test the durabilty of the board by standing on it (no problem at all, it holds up perfectly). So I carefully squeeze some Roymicin in my eyes and proceed with my possible contact with the spirit world. I dim the lights, lock the doors, and shut the ringers off my phones. Its perfect. So after an hour preparation, I was ready to go. Then it happened. I couldn't find that pointy pointer thing you put your hand on. At first I thought it was the slight blurred vision my medication was giving me, but after searching thoroughly through the box, I knew that wasn't the case. After stubbing my toe on my coffee table trying to find the light switch in the dark, I came to the gloomy conclusion that the company forgot to send me one.(By the way, a plastic coffee can lid makes a lousy substitution) Needless to say, it ruined my night. [...] Take it from me, before you waste an hour of your time trying to create the perfect mood for a ouija game, make sure all of the contents from the game are there.
Customer Review: Really Works Summary: 5 Stars
At first i wasnt really into "spirits" or bringing back the dead, but after using an ouiji board, it changed my mind. When me and my 2 friends used it, we didnt do it correctly and i could tell that one of the friends kept on moving the piece. So while she was away, me and my other friend did the ouiji board correctly by sitting "indian style" with our knees touching and we balanced the board on our laps. We placed our fingers on the piece slighty and asked questions waiting for the piece to move. After about 10 minutes, it didnt move, so me and my friend were ready to just give it up. Then I could feel the piece moving on its own, and me and my friends fingers were barely touching it. We continued to have a conversion with a spirit by the nickname of "fuz" and he answered questions that i never dared to tell my friends. I was certain she wasnt moving the piece because she didnt know the answers and i didnt want to move it because i wanted to believe it was real, and it was. We talked with this spirit for a while, and he told us he was right beside us. After we were done, i felt very cold and chills going up and down my arms. I felt like i was going to pass out and i almost felt like crying, so i went to bed. The ouiji board is very real, and if your not afraid of contacting the dead, i suggest buying this because it is a hell of a lot of fun.
