I do actually own this product -- I didn't purchase it on Amazon but at a local book store. I tried to use it but I believe my cynicism and the fact that I couldn't get my mind around what nonsense it was to hope a piece of plastic would slide around on piece of cardboard effortlessly and that this would be the work of some unseen strange force deterred it from actually happening. I bought it to have a laugh with my friends. But when I could not get it to work I decided to give up on it and slide it under my bed with the rest of the board games. But on the third night of leaving it there, I had a dream in which I was speaking to a priest and all of a sudden I felt extremely bored by what he was saying and I fell asleep and started to dream again. So now it's a dream within a dream Inception type scenario. Only in this one there's ghosts everywhere, and I ask "Who are you?" and they say "We are all Satan." And then I turned around and there stood Jesus Christ, and he was holding this wicked bad goblet which I took to be the Holy Grail, and I snatched it from him and all of the little Satan ghosts swam into the goblet, and I took a sip and this woke me up from the dream within a dream, and I found myself in the same parish where I fell asleep listening to the boring old priest, only this time I was Satan and I was still holding the Holy Grail. The priest stood there in awe so I held the grail out to him and he began vomiting blood into it, which I happily drank, and when I awoke I was in Hell, but then I remembered that I was just in another dream, and I'm Satan and I'm juggling skulls and entertaining the Manson family and all that, and then the party's over and I walk out the door and I wake up for real, in my room, only now I legitimately am Satan. So overall I'd say this product was very effective, and I encourage you to all purchase these things so me and my demon friends can enter your bodies when we're bored doing far less important things like torturing souls for all of eternity.Customer Review: The Ideomotor Effect Board Game

You cannot contact dead people with any Ouija board. There are scientific explainations as to why these boards seem to work. Do a web search for the ideomotor effect and you will find plenty of REAL scientific evidence and not B-O-L-O-G-N-A.
People who believe in Ouija boards just choose to ignore the science as another possible explaination. If you know what the answers are to questions then the game piece will move to those answers because your mind is expecting the answer. To test these ideas you should use a Ouija board in a language that you do not understand at all and that has different characters. For example: if you know English then try to use a Ouija board in Chinese. It will not work because you will not be able to spell the answers to your questions. You can also try to ask questions about dead people that you have know knowledge of. It certainly will not work then either. If dead spirits can be contacted with Ouija boards then these two examples should work but they don't.
Another experiment you might want to try is to play the game with just one other person but when questions are asked only think about not moving your hand. Concentrate on not moving your hand at all and keeping it perfectly still. I did this with a friend of mine who believed in this stuff and he couldn't make the piece move because I was holding the piece still. Although it was kind of strange when I let go of the piece, his skin started on fire and he screamed like a little girl. I think he pissed off Abe Lincoln (...)
I give the game 5 stars for eductional value because I think if you have brain cells that work then you will be able to deduct that you cannot contact the dead using a Ouija board and you will realize that you got hosed by wasting your time and money on such nonsense. That's a good life lesson right there.

Yes, to most young people, (such as 13 and under) the Ouija board may be fun to play around with, but it is NOT A TOY!!! This instrument should be used by only the advanced sorcerer or witch or higher. (yes, they are REAL!) Especially sorcerers in High Magick. Ouija boards CAN and WILL attract spirits, whether they be Good or Evil. And without proper protection spells, they CAN inhabit a persons body, or hang around you till they decide to leave. They can even influence a person into things they do not wish to do. I recomend reading the book, "The Grimoire of Armadel" before even messing with an Ouija board!
Another educational book would be, "Ouija, the most dangerous game."
It will cover everything about the board and what dangers can be caused. If you are a parent, I recomend you not buy this for your child, if your child is under the age of 13. It could cause much harm.
But, the good sides to the Ouija board, is that it helps contact spirits. Usually, you will have no choice in what chooses to answer your call. (But perhaps there are magickal ways to choose who you want to speak with...) The board will usually not answer to questions such as, "Will I ever become Famous?" and "Who will I marry when I grow up?"
This "toy" is for communicating with spirits. If you feel as if you are being followed, but can never seem to see the stalker, it is most likey an unwanted spirit. It is best to get an exorism, if you do not know magick and the proper banishing spells.
And as for the glow to the board, I find that totally usless. Only a waste of money, and just to spook kids.
But let me repeat, this board is NOT a TOY!!! Evil loves power, and the board does contain a certain amount of power. (Even though is may not seem like it.) You are lucky if a good spirit beats the evil spirit to the board first.

I used to be a cynic also, and just tried this board for a laugh. I gave this board very low reviews because I regret ever trying this out. I am not a religious person, but soon after I first became involved with this aspect of the occult hell became a very believable phenomenon.
Nothing actually happened while playing with the board; my cynicism was confirmed by my friends who tried too hard to read intelligence into the random movements occurring with the help of the participants. It was later that night when strange things began occurring. I was alone in my apartment, and was just about to turn in for the night when I heard dishes crashing in the kitchen. When I turned the lights on to investigate I couldn't find the source of the noise, the dishes were all sitting in their proper places in the cupboard; dismayed I went to bed thinking that I had somehow imagined the sounds- though I couldn't recollect anything of that sort occurring before. I stopped thinking about it and went to sleep with nothing else happening that night.
The entire week strange things continued to happen: I would leave a room and return a minute later and the furniture would be rearranged, my keys and wallet would disappear and then I would find them an hour later in the most obvious place, i.e. on the kitchen table, I initially reasoned that I was just under alot of stress and more absent minded than usual, but then the messages started appearing. On foggy bathroom mirrors, written in pencil on scraps of paper, and even whispered in the dead of night. They were threatening, taunting, malevolent promises that chilled me to the core. I have taken pictures of these sinister communications, but nobody believes me. Please, trust me and avoid the evil which this board channels.

The bottom review could be a demon possessing a young man or woman and using him or her as a tool in order to write that review. The spelling is all wrong(all twisted)but everyone knows that the Ouija Board has been given life by the satanic bible. For those that don't know in this 2006 AD the Ouija board has been around for many years and years, and this is just an evil tool which many classify as good clean innocent fun but it is all a lie. This is a tool which has been created by Satan in order to capture your soul. We are in the last times and Jesus Christ is coming back, so i say to you repent and change from your wicked(evil) ways. All other religions don't offer salvation, only Christianity and Judaism do. The rest only lead to hell. Jesus Christ is the creator of the solar systems and everything that exists, including you, and using this Ouija board only angers God. People who do magic are bound to go to hell for ETERNITY. Save your soul(and People will laugh at this review) but it is good to be laughed at for this review, but to save some souls in the end, because many people are going to the lake of fire(HELL) because of playing with Magic (Ouija, using satanic bible, and being a witch, etc.)If you play with magic then you are Satanic 100 percent. Give up the devil satan, and come to Christ. Jesus Christ is Life, Eternity, Salvation, and True Love, give up this evil ouija board before it is to late. The road to Heaven is very narrow and few will make it. Judgement day will come some day soon and there will be no more cities nor even amazon.com but all of us will be facing God and we will be judged according to our acts.
