Well you obviously have some interest in the Ouija board if you are reading this so lets start from there. Religion holds no value in this people so do not bring up questions of morality, and religious background. The Ouija is a type of medium, and while the board is farley elaborate its nothing that anyone at home with a sharpe marker, cardboard, and enough sense of the alphabet couldn't create. The Ouija holds no specific abilities it remains material, and inanimate. It is a channel device, a means of communication. Where the magic happens is with you. you are the animator, the pawn. Heres some suggested reasons of why it moves
pro: A spirit from beyond this dimension is contacting you through means of possession (movement of hands) to spell out specific answers. Supernatural
con: If any reaction it is either triggered by the subconscious, or purpose movement of either you or your partner.
Neutral: No reaction at all stands alone as undecided
my personal experience. I just bought the above object with 2 of my friends. We brought it home and those 2 tried it with no results during the day but little effort nor time were put forth. I tried it at 1:00 that morning alone (your not supposed to do it alone) in darkness with single white candle burning and in silence. I concentrated and asked the simple question of "will I be happy in life" I received no results. What did happen though struck my as rather ironic. A small spider walked onto the board and stayed motionless on the letter K. Hmmm. Not quite sure about that but it was fairly unique.
I am still undecided but remain open and hoping for a supernatural clause. I remain faith full and encourage you to to.

Do it with more than one person. Evidence documents individuals being possessed or suffering mental trauma or developing acute paranoia's after lone contact with a Ouija board. Better safe than sorry guys.
Burn a White candle with encourages pleasant spirits to grace the board as opposed to malevolent since white is the purist entity.
Keep an open mind, and do not intimidate the board. Remain courteous and positive.
Don't watch the exorcised before tampering with the board unless you can take the paranoia of Captain Howdey. :)
Be mindful of who you are talking to. DO NOT invite bad karma to the board just to keep it safe. No negative energy, Do not contact demons, devils, or anything un-holey in that nature.
Do contact Poltergeist, Relatives, Friends, or any other FRIENDLY spirit.

I have done some research on Ouija boards trying answer the question is it just a game or is it something more? The more could be something good or evil. Some believe it's a conduit to HELL that lets demons in who want to eat your juicy soul and tell you lots of lies (since their dad is the father of you know what). Some believe it will contact a benevolent being aka goodie-two-shoe spirit high on life who wants nothing better to help and tell you swell things. Sometimes I think its all BS and sometimes it think it us connecting into the collective unconscious. Or something else all together? Do-do-do-do.
Ouija goes way back (like 1000's of years) and its more commonly referred to as "talking boards" since their supposedly "talk" to the spirit world. They come in all shapes and sizes. One modern example is at a party I have used a beer bottle cap and notebook piece of paper with the alphabet scribbled on it. It "worked" just as good as the glow-in-dark game. Another tidbit is the word Ouija was a fusion of the French word "oui" for yes, and the German "ja" for yes.*. Cool huh?

After a few hours or drinking in graveyard we got bored. Just in case you were wondering we did respect the property and flowers of the graves we are not hoodlums here. Now on the other hand I can care less about the dead because well umm they are dead. This was a scientific event that resulted in only one notable event over several hours and users (people). I asked our lovely glow in the dark Ouija board what was yesterday's 3 Indiana pick 3 lottery number were. I ask that because this is something my trusted friend and I had no clue on since we don't gamble and it's something verifiable. It more or less answered "747" and the next day I looked up the real answer and it was 774. So while still wrong it, it was interesting. In conclusions I think it's a game. If Ouija really does tap into something its not an unknowable magical ghosts or sprits flying about. I think it's our unconscious mind and perhaps just perhaps it's everyone's unconscious mind connected together in some yet unknown way. If that is the case then its needs to explored and researched don't let fear of the unknown get in the way. It is not the dark ages any more. There are no more witch burnings. Religious dogma often has kept people in the fear of devils and persecutions. Did you know just in 1992, 359 years after the Galileo trial and 340 years after his death the catholic issued an apology, lifting the edict of Inquisition against Galileo? Perhaps the next big scientific break through could be a result of playing with the Ouija board?

I have had many experiences with this board.I am absolutely sure this "game" is real and not something to approach haphazardly.I started using the board with friends years ago and experimented to prove that we were not imagining the results from the answers we were given.The spirits of our past are always around us at all times.When you light a candle before, say a prayer to surround yourself with protection from anything bad. We also used holy water and prayed before beginning. This is a very old ritual from before the egyptians. You do not even need a board to do this. An overturned juice glass on a paper taped to the table with the same alphabet and such does the same thing. Parker Bros. is capitalizing on something that has been around for centuries and really does work...
Imagine if you will, talking on a partyline...or opening a doorway to a crowd on your doorstep, yes there are both good and bad as in our everyday life. People only speak of the terrible experiences. However, with study and careful understanding, the ouija can be enlightening and positive. Just know when to stop if you feel the entity is turning negative. If the spirit does not leave after you ask it to,put it away...it will stay all night.I have experimented with the board to make sure with actual proof. Next time you sit down to try the ouija, once you have an active spirit that is fluidly communicating, have a third person read the letters being spelled out as BOTH parties that have their hands on the pointer face AWAY from the board,if the spirit comes through strong you will still receive your answers.Also I have used the board and been on the phone with a friend, each of us on a board with a partner.We were more than 2 hours apart in location. one party asked a question without the other knowing the question, and the answer came to the opposite location...every time it was correct.this proved there is no time delay or space in the other dimension.If we go to church and believe in an afterlife, how can so many people not believe that this is so much more than a game. Please be careful if you choose to do this, it can be very rewarding or very dangerous. It depends on how you approach it. And most importantly, do not participate in this at all if you think it is a joke or something to just amuse. Anything put into it based on negativity, joking,sarcasm,greed etc. will invite negative energy. (never do this alone...you become vunerable to negative influences, the Exorcist is based on a true story). Good luck to all who try the board to bring your conciousness to a higher levelof understanding.

Ouija boards are dangerous if not used with caution! Here are some things you should know before using your Ouija...1. NO NEGATIVITY! Dont be angry, depressed, or feel or think any negative thoughts when attempting to communicate. This could attract a negative spirit. Keep your thoughts and emotions positive.
2. LIGHTING- Don't dim the lights, use candle light, or at night, or in a thunderstorm, or anything like that to try to set the 'mood'. That will likely just frighten you. Fright is in this case a NEGATIVE feeling. Avoid it as best you can! Use with plenty of light in conditions you feel most comfortable in.
There are three types of spirits. The Good, the Mischevious, and the Bad. The Good are friendly. The mischevious may lie, or play around, perhaps in ways that may frighten you. The Bad are the dangerous ones.
3. If at any time while using the Ouija board you suddently become very afraid or cold, discontinue use immediately! These are signs of a negative spirit.
4. Treat spirits with respect! Be kind, polite and considerate. Most spirits find it rude to dig too deeply into their death. It may be wise to ask permission.
5. When talking to them, remember that spirits were once living people too. They have personalities, interests, friends, and opinions too.
6. ALWAYS say good-bye before you leave! After saying good-bye, let the spirit move the planchette (the pointer) over to the Goodbye also.
7. Dont go CRAZY. Watch for signs of obsession. If you notice that your becoming obsessed with the Ouija, don't use your Ouija for awhile. Take a break for a few weeks. The reason being, you run the risk of going insane. No joke. Susy Smith in "Confessions of a Psychic" (1971) claims that using a Ouija board caused her to become mentally disturbed. In "Thirty Years Among the Dead" (1924), American psychiatrist Dr. Carl Wickland claims that using the Ouija board "resulted in such wild insanity that commitment to asylums was necessitated." I started to experience some wild mood swings and unstability after constant use in a very short span of time.
8. I believe that houses can become haunted through the use of using the Ouija. If you dont want to run the risk of that, just dont use it in ur house! Use it in some other building where there will be litle destractions and you can concentrate.

This is only one of the true and working rituals:
First you want to go to your quite place, turn off the lights and light the candles and incense. If you have 2 people it always seems to work better for some reason. Do your protection ritual. If you do not know one then you can simply imagine your body surrounded by a sphere of bright white light. The color white is always used for protection and purity. Then when you are relaxed enough, each person place their fingertips on the edge of the disc. Be sure not to push down very hard at all or the disc will not slide around like it is supposed to. You may then ask if there is anyone present with you here in the room. Or are there any spirits here that wish to communicate at this time? You may want to ask this several times. It may take a little while before it will start to move. When it starts to move slowly towards the yes then you know you have made contact with some form of entity. It usually takes a few minutes or so to start getting any results if you do. Don't expect to get results every time, for you are not commanding these spirits, you are simply asking them if they want to talk. Once you have made contact, then ask the spirit what its name is. Then you may proceed to ask the spirit any questions you want. Things will usually start to speed up a little from that point on. Sometimes when a spirit is ready to leave, the disc will just go off the board. Write down your experiences every time you use the Ouija Board and keep them all in a little journal for future reference. Now the the most important part... Make sure you do some form of banishing ritual in order to make sure that the spirit has departed and is not still hanging around. The choice is yours and you don't have to do this banishing, but it is always better if you can. If the spirit stays and hangs around you it may very well try to influence you to its way of thinking and it may not be a good spirit. So just take precautions and your experiences should be quite enjoyable!
