Toys and Games Reviews of OperationCustomer Review: Always fun - matter your age Summary: 5 Stars
I got this game as a gift after having not played it for years. It is just as fun now as ever. If you have kids that you want to introduce to a game that you used to love, this is the one to get for them. They will love it, and it will probably bring back a lot of fond memories for you too!
It doesn't come with batteries, so make sure you have some on hand so you can play right away!
Customer Review: Broken out of the box Summary: 1 Stars
My kids were very disappointed when the buzzer wouldn't work out of the box. No amount of tweaking, pushing, etc would get the buzzer to work. Everything else worked, sounds etc, so it had to be some issue with the tweezers. This game has obviously gone through a cost-saving redesign - it feels much more flimsy than the original and the new system with sounds is stupid.
Customer Review: Some nice upgrades, some not so great Summary: 3 Stars
I like the sturdy drawer that holds the fun new pieces but the sound effects are really annoying. My kids liked playing but most of the time were wishing it would just be quiet! There is a nice feature that allows younger children to play but allowing more mistakes before the buzzer buzzes. If they could just fix the annoying sounds this would be better than the original.
Customer Review: Poor Quality Summary: 2 Stars
Prior to ordering this game I had read a previous review indicating the poor quality and wish I had taken notice. Like the other reviewer the game did not work out of the box. Again it would appear to be some issue with the tweezers. A big Christmas day disappointment for my daughter. It is very cheap and nasty and not at all the quality that I recall as a child.
Customer Review: Great toy suffers from poor quality Summary: 1 Stars
I had read the bad reviews outlining the quality issues with this toy but my daughter really wanted it. By day 2 the buzzer was working intermittently. During some games it would work fine in the beginning and then, unbeknownst to us, would fail halfway through. We had to jiggle the switch to get it working again and start over. By day 3 it just stopped working.
