I purchased this for my 7 year old on his birthday. I loved the old version as a child and wanted him to have the same experience. Unfortunately, we lost pieces immediately upon opening the game, (they are VERY small!) I guess this game requires more supervision than I anticipated.Customer Review: Operation spongebob

My son wanted this toy for christmas, and I like any dad buy it believeing he will love it. To bad he had just used it like 3 times since. Also it has a very poor quality plastic made. And now I think the old school operation has a better quality made.Customer Review: Scares my kid

I'd forgotten how jarring it is to hear/feel that buzzer when your tweezers touch live metal. It has actually scared my 5 year-old into not wanting to play it. anymore. On the other hand, I'm 43 and I love the adrenaline rush. Go figure.Customer Review: Great Toy

I played this with my 5-yr-old several times. Trains fine motor skills and math. Challenging enough but not too difficult for him while it is still fun for me. I recommend it.
Buy it from Target for the right price.
