Customer Review: Very Fun for indoor use

I bought this gun mainly for it's looks and functionality when used indoors. It can shoot about 15 - 20 ft out of the box and can get about 30 - 35 ft if you want to modify it. It is a very durable toy, but if it does break, it will be the hammer pin that is used to prime the gun. The pin is held by plastic tabs that can wear down, but only from very heavy, heavy use. This gun has a high rate of fire but can misfire occasionally depending on the darts. The included darts are okay, but a bit too soft and thin. If you are able to find thicker darts, I would recommend it. The barrels are tapered so I would recommend not storing the darts in the barrel for a long period of time. And the color is the new yellow and black scheme, not the blue and silver as depicted.Customer Review: Durable

When I was looking for a nerf gun, I wanted one I could modify. This is a great gun to get into the experience of modding nerf guns.
It's a nerf gun, so how educational can it be? That being said, it's still educational in that you can experiment with making your own darts of varying lengths, you can test different springs (if you find some that fit), you can modify the barrel to slide out further, make barrel 'clips' (if you have a spare gun), etc... so there are things to be learned, if you wish. There are also a great deal of youtube videos that demonstrate the different mods, which makes it considerably easier (and somewhat safer).
As a toy, it's great. It's durable, simple, and it shoots things. What more can you ask for?

My son received this for his 5th birthday and it's BY FAR his favorite gift. He plays with this pretty much every day. It took him a little while to master being able to cock the gun by himself but he's got it now (watch out!). We bought a second gun for my husband as part of his Father's Day gift. Now the "boys" chase each other all over the house. It's great fun for "male bonding"!!! Just set some basic ground rules early on and this is a lot of good safe fun for the whole family. We would definitely purchase these as gifts (as long as parents approve). Also, would highly recommend buying the mega refill pack of ammo to go with it since this only comes with a few darts (nowhere near enough to have a good time with it).Customer Review: Best Nerf pistol ever

Hey. I've bought some of the best Nerf pistols out there (nite finder, split shot, secret shot, scout blaster, etc....), and this one is my favorite.Here are my reasons:
pros:
1. has a good range for a pistol
2. carries 6 bullets in a clip
3. semi-auto pistol
4.my brother keeps on using it and dropping it, and it dosnt break
5: good price;$10.
cons:
1. too heavy and bulky for a pistol(i dont really care that much, but..)
2. the load barrel dosnt come out all the way, just a bit and you can spin it to fill in the holes.
Overall, this is the best nerf pistol ive seen out there.... its kewl too that it can attach to the titan.

Talk about value for your money! This gun is only $10 and I belive I got $10 of enjoyment out of this gun in the first hour of using it. Being able to load six bullets at once, and the nice cocking mechanism, make it really hard to put this gun down. I watch TV with this gun and shoot the darts at paris hilton if she appears. Or shoot it at the ceiling, and when the darts stick to it and then fall off, say "it's raining".
I also got some whistle tip darts, which also work with this gun (seem to have a slightly higher misfire rate, though). With these you can chase you cat through the house, shooting and yelling "The whistles go woo!" (Important: Do not actually hit your cat!)
