The long shot was my first nerf rifle and hasn't let me down ever. I have the very first production series seeing it in catologs and commercials in the Christmas season so it wasn't long until I had it firing at targets and family. It was, for me, a little hard at first to grasp but I got it. The mini blaster wasn't quite a show and niether was the scope but what you were paying for is the quality and the main rifle. It isn't very inconspicuous but it is good enough. It is mainly a long range weapon, for nerf, and can really get someone. I'd recommend this to the snipers and junkies but maybe a little "long" for smaller children.Customer Review: Great weapon

One day, I was sitting on my front porch eating an egg mayonaisse taco and drinking warm gravy when suddenly, a guy in an oversized Barney costume walks over and says "Hey, gimme a bite of that taco!". And I was all like, "No! You'll contaminate it!". Then he got angry and pulled out a chainsaw and started hacking away at my limbs. I didn't know what to do, but then I noticed my Nerf gun nearby. I grabbed it with the one arm I had left and blasted him right in the esophagus. He fell down and laid in a coma for 23 years, which was plenty enough time for me to get away and tell the whole world about it!

This is one of the best nerf guns ever!The bolt that cocks the darts and the six shot clips work great!The bipod and adjustable rest on the back is good to.the detachable single shot hand gun is also nice.The scope is good ,but it does not have the best accuraccy.The best way to make it work is to aim with it then jolt the gun up right when you shoot.I cant really say how far this gun shoots {the box says 35 feet} but it shoots far!Its a good idea to get some refills,the gun does not get jammed alot, but when it does it sometimes damages the darts.Overall a great nerf gun! the scope will work and it will be accurate if you listen to the guy who said to make sure the hole on the darts are in a certain position. This way it will be accurate. I'm positive that it's supposed to be that way because it seems like it's the areo-dynamics to it (or whatever you call it). Anyway this gun should be great if you make it last and you don't lose your darts. Remember, nerf guns are good for more than the first week you have it and you play with it. Make 'em last. You might discover many things you can do with them other than shoot at a target.

Customer Review: Ours jammed and was unusable

This gun worked great for the first few shots. Then it began tearing up the foam darts and jamming. Within an hour, almost every dart was damaged and the gun jammed up on more than half of the shots.
This was very disappointing to my son, who had saved for months to buy it. We were happy that we were able to easily return it to the store we purchased from.
We know of two other families that have this gun, and they have had okay performance from it. I guess we're just unlucky -- but beware that you could be unlucky too!
