Customer Review: Amazing gun, tips on the scope

I have had this nerf gun for about a year, and i love it! The range is great, even with chewed up darts.(most of the time) the bipod is sturdy, as is the adjustable stock. the pistol attachment is useless, but used as a barrel, it slightly brings down range, but improves accuracy, plus it looks cool. The scope, if used as it says, is a piece of junk, but if you put it o the rail atop the rails on the barrels of the recon or raider, it works pretty well. (not magnification, just accuracy) It does occasionaly jam up, but only if you try to fire in quick succession. It IS a sniper rifle, after all. All in all, this gun is a must-have for any nerf arsenal.Customer Review: One very happy 10 year old son

This gun is great... if you're a 10 year old boy. My son is, and he loves it. It's massive, and has all sorts of cool features like the bi-pod and scope. He thinks that it's great.
If however you are older than you once were and are starting to see more scalp than hair - a bit like me perhaps - then you may be less impressed.
It's ridiculously over-priced. The bullets don't shoot very far (and they are easily damaged so need to be re-bought) and the scope doesn't magnify anything (why not? For this price Nerf could have easily put a real scope on the gun).
Boys will always love guns. Dads will always hate bills.

i truly and honestly regret buying this, a huge waste of cash.
if this thing is supposed to be a "sniper rifle" they did a really bad job
the range is very low (10 feet at most then starts dropping)also the scope is a disgrace just a piece of plastic you look through, the extension on the front is only there to make it the "longest nerf gun" it decreases the shot
distance even further and is a waste of plastic. unless you have the proper
tools to modify it don't bother wasting your money. im not saying all nerf guns are bad just this one, if you want a better gun you should get the maverick or one of the full auto ones.

OK well let's start with the basics IT'AWSOME it shot forever and is extremely powerful to make it shoot farther take the clip out turn it upside down close the chamber there is a small air escape valve put a piece of tape over it and it will add 10ft to the range and be shore to take off the barrel exstention if you plan to make a longshot(pun) the additional barrel makes it hard to move and hurts the range cause the darts hit the inside of the barrel. Tolaly better than the vulcan if you were going to spend $40 to get the vulcan take the money get this gun and the clip mission kit take the last $1 and start a mutual fund(just kidding)Customer Review: my son loves it

I ordered this for my son's 10th birthday in early December. He LOVED it. He has a couple of other nerf guns and this was another to add to the collection.
One exciting part for him is the sheer size of it - 3 feet long. It would dwarf a smaller kid.
One downside is that it only shoots one nerf bullet at a time and the reload time isn't super quick like some of the other nerf guns.
But overall, he is very pleased with it because he can strategically place himself on an upper or lower level of our quad-level house and shoot at a target (his sister, mother, dad, or friend) on another level.
