Toys and Games Reviews of Nerf Dart Tag Hyperfire Deluxe 2 Player Blaster SetCustomer Review: Guys at work love it Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this for my boyfriend. They're all little boys at heart. Him and his work mates run around the office shooting each other.
I rated the "educational" value of it as high because if you think about it, a lot of physics goes into the guns. There's that air pressure thingo that makes the darts shoot. And even though it's not recommended, if you understand the concepts, you can modify them so more pressure/air builds up and they hurt more. Something about boys and them wanting to hurt each other for giggles. One of my friends put an m&m at the tip of the foam bullet. Once again, this is not recommended as apparently, it hurts on impact. There's physics reasonings for why this happens too.
Overall, it's a great toy. Just make sure you don't have any foam bullets still stuck on your woolen sweaters when you go to into your business meetings.
Customer Review: Action Packed Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased this toy for my 4yr old nephew which I knew was way too young but he ownes so many of the nerf guns that I thought he would enjoy this too if adults played along. It is a wonderful toy and very fun but the child must have enough physical strenth to be able to pull the handle back like a shot gun action before they can shoot each time. This was very hard for my nephew so he mostly plays with the smaller guns that come with the package and the adults play with the larger guns. Give him another year or two and he it will be perfect. If your child is at least 6 this toy will be a blast and is great for adults and children to play together.
Customer Review: Too much fun! Summary: 5 Stars
Wow. My 11yr old DAUGHTER told me that this was the greatest game EVER. Since Santa dropped this at our house, my daughters and I have spent way too much time running around the basement, shooting each other. We have had some nerf related injuries: my knees feel like they are going to go out and we've had a few stings on the face and neck where we've gotten a little exuberant in our playing... All in all, this is a great game and has given us a bunch of exercise. I strongly recommend using the protective eyewear. Now if we could only find all the darts that we've shot around the basement, life would be perfect.
Customer Review: Tag - your it! Summary: 5 Stars
This was the absolute best toy I could have purchased for my oldest son. He asked for the smaller one, but after reading reviews about how that gun sticks, I decided to go with this one. Also, I have 4 children so they can all play with this toy. They've had so much fun shooting each other. I want to make an indoor wall target for them out of fleece because the darts stick very well to that type of fabric. As for the educational value - my children love to pretend play and so they are using their imagination and interacting with each other - not to mention the exercise they get running from each other.
Customer Review: Fun for the WHOLE family Summary: 5 Stars
We bought these for our 2 boys, ages 7 & 9, for Christmas. Everytime they have friends over their Nerf guns come out and the war begins! Never would I have thought that us adults would have just as much fun. It started with a loaded nerf gun sitting on the counter while us adults were talking, and a remark that warranted a shot to the chest... after a little laughter, the battle was on. The four adults were running around the house, grabbing the bullets and shooting each other for the next hour... Can't remember the last time we had so much fun!! Buy the extra bullets... you won't be sorry!!!
