Toys and Games Reviews of Monopoly Junior EditionCustomer Review: Thrills all around! Summary: 5 Stars
Monopoly Jr. is, by far, my four year old's favorite game. I really enjoy getting to play "grown up" games with her, which makes it more enjoyable for me as well. The money is in smaller increments and the ticket booths are big for smaller hands. During play you have to roll, count spaces, and purchase items just like in the original version. My daughter enjoys math and this helps exercise her skills while having fun. This game is a must have!
Customer Review: Entertaining, Easy and Fun! Summary: 4 Stars
I shy away from playing board games with small children because it's hard enough for me to figure out the directions, but then I have to teach a game I'm not familiar with to a youngster, well...it's too much for this old girl sometimes! But, not so with this game.
The directions were easy to follow, the game itself is easy to play, fun, fast and entertaining, even for adults.
Don't be afraid to give this one a try!
Customer Review: Fantastic game for my seven year old! Summary: 5 Stars
My seven year old son loves this game. He usually has a short attention span with board games, but he maintains interest and concentration for the duration with this. It's a fantastic family game and can easily be played with just two players. I played regular Monopoly as an older child and was concerned this might be boring or too childish, but the game retains the basic principles, just slightly simplified. Definitely recommended. Great game.
Customer Review: Fun for the family Summary: 5 Stars
My son actually discovered Monopoly online, and wanted a game to try at home. We opted for this since it just seemed easier and quicker than a whole game of the grown up version. It's really a great way to teach kids the game of Monopoly - the concept is fun, the money is easy to use, and the game doesn't last forever and ever. We play regularly. THe pieces are big enough for little fingers to handle. I highly recommend this.
Customer Review: What's more fun than going to the amusement park? Summary: 5 Stars
My kids love playing this game. The money is in smaller increments so it's easier for the children to manage, and it takes much less time to play Monopoly, Jr., than it does to play the adult version of Monopoly, so the game is fun - not tedious. That's what we like so much about Monopoly, Jr. My children - ages 5 and 8 - love playing this game! (And, of course, they just love taking money from their parents! :-))
