Toys and Games Reviews of Monopoly Junior Edition

Customer Review: Monopoly Jr
Summary: 5 Stars

This was a Christmas present for our 5 1/2 yr old Grandson and we played it on Christmas Eve after he opened it
We all had fun. It's easier than regular Monopoly and he loved being the Banker.
Board games are fun for children of all ages and teaches them how to take turns, count money, learn patience and have fun at the same time. It's fun for the whole family... much better than a child playing video games alone.
I would recommend this game to parents or grandparents of children in the 4-6 age group.

Customer Review: Good for elementary kids
Summary: 4 Stars

Got this for my son (6 1/2) for Christmas, as he's really into the more grown-up style games, but doesn't have the patience for all-out Monopoly. My brother had this when he was younger, so I knew a bit about it already. There are no property cards to have to keep track of, no houses or hotels to jack up rent, and the dollar amounts are smaller so it's easier for younger kids to do the math when they are buying, selling, and paying opponents. My son really enjoys it, so I was glad I could find it for him.

Customer Review: My niece loves it
Summary: 5 Stars

I gave this to my 6 year old niece for her Birthday and she loves it. I'm told by her mother she plays it all the time. What's good about this game is that my niece along with having fun is also learning as well. She's learning about money and practicing her math skills. The game also helps her to learn to follow directions and take turns. Her favorite part about the game is winning. This game also takes a lot less time to finish than regular Monopoly which is good for childrens short attention span.

Customer Review: Fun! Mom & Dad won't dread being asked to play this, either.
Summary: 5 Stars

One of my 5 year olds just got this for Christmas. We have enjoyed playing this with the kids (ages 5, 5, and 8). This is really just like a shorter kids' version of Monopoly. You still buy properties, but the denominations of money are $1-$5, which is much more manageable for little kids. The game doesn't take anywhere near as long as regular Monopoly. Everybody likes it.

Simply stated, it's fun. This is one my husband & I don't mind playing.

Customer Review: Good Game
Summary: 4 Stars

Purchased for my daughter's 6th birthday. She really likes to play this game and it helps her work with small numbers. However, I wish that the dollar amounts were larger (it only has 1-5 denominations), because having her work with the bigger numbers would help her math skills. I love the speed of the game though, as it holds her attention. The only reason I didn't rate this a 5 is because I don't feel like it pushes math skills as much as it could.
