Toys and Games Reviews of Monopoly Here & Now Limited EditionCustomer Review: Fun game, but awful box Summary: 2 StarsI don't know why they didn't make the board simply fold in half. The money holder and plastic hotel/pieces holder is really chintzy, and it's very hard to put everything away when you're done. This game isn't cheap, so they could have taken a bit of extra thought so the game could be put away more effectively. Otherwise a fun updated version of Monopoly that my kids can identify a lot more with, and the money amounts make a lot more sense. I could have done without the product placement in the game pieces though.
Customer Review: Monoply always a great game Summary: 5 StarsI got this for my adult son who gets together with friends for game nights. He loved this modern version. It's really a great concept with all the new pieces.
Customer Review: Needs improvement, but still FUN Summary: 3 StarsThis game is a break from the traditional Monopoly game, I like the new spaces and the landmarks from around the Nation. I couldn't help notice a few things that I would have done differently:
1.Make the paper money larger for ease of handling
2.A lazy susan for the deed cards (like in Monopoly Deluxe Edition)
3 The game board be folded in 2 sections instead of 4 (less creases)
4. make the tokens larger (my friend has big fingers had a hard time moving his token)
Other than this i have to say that the game was still fun and challenging, and really cool to land on known landmarks instead of the traditional street names.
If anything grab this game and leave it wrapped as a collector item (as it was a limited edition!
Customer Review: good family fun Summary: 4 StarsOverall great product and fun to play. I am still a fan of the original, but it is noce to see the new twists and turns. I would have liked to see a better correlation of some of the properties (geographic or otherwise) instead of being the "most popular are the most expensive". As others have said the money is sometimes hard to keep track of with all the zero's. I do enjoy it still.
Customer Review: Interesting change Summary: 4 StarsHave played the game for over 50 years and this version was a refreshing change. Unfortunately, the increased dollar amounts were frustrating for my young kids (that are just learning addition, money, etc.) as making change, buying properties, etc. seemed way more complex to them. They like the old version with 1's, 5's, 10's, etc. - they didn't enjoy this version as much as I did. That's the only reason it keeps me from giving it 5 stars.
