My Nephew wanted this game so I went on-line and ordered. None of the area stores carried it. He was happy when I gave to him. Then my son got the same exact game from his job and I was tempted to return it, but I have decided to keep it for myself. I have the original Monopoly game and the kids play with it - so now I have a newer edition for myself. Yippee!Customer Review: Good family game

Surprisingly our video game guru son (age 12) picked this. We had a nice time playing it. (There is a short play version...but we didn't see that until we had already began) It took us 4 hours to complete, but we did it. You play with BIG MONEY bills, not $5 & $10 like when we were kids. I really love monopoly because its fun and educational at the same time. I mean, I can add, subtract, multiply and divide in my head so much faster because I played this game so much. The thing is. I dont really play anymore. I bought it because I kind of collect different editions of monopoly now. You should definitely get on if you are intersested.Customer Review: Wow! Having played the original Monopoly when I was a child it takes awhile to learn the new names on the spaces. The money is interesting too...just add zeros to the old game money. I think it always has been a good tool for learning to deal with numbers for kids. I'm looking forward to playing many games and to win once in awhile.

This new version is a lot of fun, but takes a few plays to get used to. You use large sums of money to buy favorite vacation destinations from across the U.S. The utilities got an update to internet and cell phone providers, and the trains are now airports. It is a fun updated version, but the classic will always be a favorite.
