Toys and Games Reviews of Monopoly Game Star Wars Saga EditionCustomer Review: Monopoly-Star Wars Style Summary: 5 Stars
It had been a while since I've taken a look at both Star Wars and Monopoly...Due to the hype for the new movie (EPS 3), I got back into Star Wars...This caused a mass compulsive buying of alot of SW merchandise. One of those items happened to be Star Wars Monopoly.
The paper money is cheap as always...it feels like it'll rip any second...it couldve been a little more durable.
The cities and settlements are sculpted great, and the game board has beautiful art on it.
The game pieces
Darth Vader
Darth Maul
Darth Sidious
Luke Skywalker
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Princess Leia
Yoda
General Grievous
are all extremely well made, bringing characters from all 6 movies.
My only gripe is that they included Grevious over someone like Han Solo or Boba Fett...I don't care for Leia or Yoda much, so I wouldnt have minded those two replaced with some old favorites.
All in all, a great buy and tons of fun to play.

Customer Review: Using the force for family game night Summary: 5 Stars
Family game night is an important night at our house. It bonds us, it is face time, teaches fair play, honesty, and how to be a gracious loser. We are competitive and follow the rules of games to a fault. But let me be real. Love Star Wars and always hated monopoly. Perhaps it is the fact that my husband never lets anyone "throw in the towel" until the last man is standing. I really never enjoyed Monopoly... until now! The figures are neat, the game play is faster, and we just have a blast. You get to do different tasks depending on your roll. Snake eyes = go anywhere on the board, double sixes = challenge another for their un-monopolized property. Just writing this review makes me want to break out the board. I will say the money (credits) are kind of flimsy. We had also bought the Monopoly credit card game but didn't like it. We instead now use the credit card machine along with our Star Wars Saga Edition monopoly. It is the best. Love it.
Customer Review: Star Wars Monopoly ROCKS! Summary: 5 Stars
This game is a terrific new version of the classic. All the same rules apply of course, but if you choose, the game comes with instructions for a Star Wars twist! I won't tell you what it is, but I will tell you it has something to do with the dice. The game comes with eight character tokens (four are good guys, four are bad guys) and a blue die and a red die. The colors come in handy when playing the star Wars version. You buy and trade for planets. You buy settlements and citys instead of houses and hotels. I think it's great fun! Although I've lost every game to my little brothers! Oh, and for all you big Star wars fans out there, the instructions come with a translation guide for the Star wars galaxy Aurebush language. It helps you to read the words on the "Republic credits". All in all it's a great game, so get out there and play! May the Force be with you!
Customer Review: MONOPOLY IS 5 Stars
I received this game for Christmas and it is so
What I lke about this game is the 8 collectible tokens,
jedi and the sith cards, I like everything about this game.
But what would make it even better is if it had enough slots for all of the money and it only has 5 slots and the origanal monopoly game has enough slots.
But I still love
Also you must buy this Review: Same rules, different look Summary: 4 Stars
I was surprised at how nice the game looked when we took it out! The pieces are lovely and my son displays the tiny figures on his desk. I was disappointed in the characters they choice for the game. Also, it is just a "pretty" Monopoly game. The cards are still worded the same, just with different art work. If you like Monopoly and you enjoy Star Wars - this is a great blend....I am just not sure why they made it?? Cashing in?
