We bought this game as a present for our daughter for her 11th birthday and she loves it! She has played it with friends and we have all played it together as a family. It is a lot of fun and more modernized than the original game. The only drawback is the electronic feature for counting money as far as it being educational, but that is the whole idea behind this game. We have the original version and will play that with her as well!
Overall, we are very satisfied with our purchase.

My niece has this game and I've played it with her several times each taking turns with who get's to be the banker and although it is alot easier than counting paper money ... it can get quite tedious constantly placing the plastic money cards into the + slot and - slot each time for each player. If they created something like an ATM like thing where you slide your card and press deposit or withdraw with one card slide it'd be alot better. Game plays just like the old one but the properties are all named differently with larger property values. Like the yellow properties would cost $3 million dollars. The debit card system works well, but does slow the game down waiting for the cards to be entered in and out of the electronic banking device. We discovered that banking by hand with cash goes faster than using the debit card system. Although it is easier quickly finding your total cash you have on hand.Customer Review: WoW this was terrible!!!

I am a huge Monopoly fan. Been playing sense I was a kid and when I saw this advertise a went out and got it.
It is true that it is a lot less messy without the money but the time it takes you to switch money around on the little machine I could have cleaned up 6 Monopoly games that were thrown around a room by a freak indoor tornado. It takes so long to transfer funds its ridiculous. Save your money and stick with old school monopoly.

This was a really terribly designed "upgrade" to the classic game. The electronic banking ends up taking so much longer to complete than just exchanging paper money that you end up needing a full time banker, especially when players start making exchanges with each other. There's also added margin for error, and yes the banker also knows exactly how much money each player has. Stick with the original paper money.
