I thought it looked dumb on the commercial, but my son asked for it, so I got it for him. He really enjoys it. It's basically playdooh and gel that hardens to make aliens. The aliens are very small (almost the size of those little animals you get out of the 25 cent candy machines). But my son (age 6) can make them on his own and saves them in baggies to play with later. It was worth the money.Customer Review: interesting and fun

My niece wanted this for her birthday, but no one was able to find it. I love such "missions" and not only found the toy, but founf a much better deal at the manufacturers website. I was able to get the main toy plus 5 refills for about $45 (including tax and shipping)! With a discount code I found on another site, this turned out to be a great deal and my family fulfilled her birthday wish :)Customer Review: 6 yr old boy loves it!

My son, 6 almost 7 yrs old, wanted the alien maker ...after getting it in Dec, he is still making aliens and shares it with his friends when they come over..2 of them now want it! He enjoys making the aliens and playing with them after. I do help him with the 'goo' but all else he does on his own. We just bought more 'goo' to make even more! A lot of fun! I live near Nashville TN and they were airing a commercial for this product on some cartoon channel. I searched everywhere even EBAY with no luck or too high. Found it on Amazon at a super price. Got it fast and my 2 grandsons Haden and Gavin are still lovin' makin' aliens evertime they visit Nana Mona. Better than I thought it would be. Neat to store it all away. My 5 year old son LOVES this toy. After the first few tries, he was able to make them by himself. I had to buy a plastic bin to store the pieces and parts in, but it was well worth it as he can just grab it and bring it to the kitchen table. The mess cleans up easily. The aliens eventually seem to dry out, but the fun part is making them anyway! Great price on Amazon!!
