Bought this for my nephew. As a parent, we all know keeping the parts/pieces together can be tough. Well, this is also a little tough to keep clean (at least with little ones.) The outcome is cool though cause they made a little toy. Sooner-than-later though, they get bored of the same little martian and want another. Before you know it, you have a bunch of martians they don't play with and end up in the trash. Wouldn't by this again.Customer Review: B-o-r-i-n-g

My sons received this as a gift this year. They played with it on the day they got it, and it has been sitting in their room gathering dust ever since.
1. The directions say to let the "aliens" dry for 5 minutes. It really takes more like 20.
2. There is nothing to do with the "aliens" once you make them and "dissect" them except throw them away.
Basically, I see this toy winding up in a garage sale.

I wasn't sure how impressed my 7-year-old nephew would be with this - he likes aliens but this set makes tiny jelly-bean-like aliens that aren't all that scary or interesting.
However, the set turned out to be absolutely addictive for him and his friends. The educational value comes from reading the instructions - other than that, it's a simple idea and easy to do, with enough stuff to make lots of aliens.

My 4 year old daughter bought this after saving her chore and grandparent money for a month. She loves it and I was pleasantly surprised. It is easy to do and does not make a big mess. She caught on to it real fast and it looks just like on tv. Fun last about 30 minutes and it didnt seems like the alien lava used to make the aliens will last a while without having to buy refills. I got this product as a gift for a friend with 3 boys. All i can say is I don't know how loved it more the oldest two boys or papa. They all sat and had a great time with this toy. I would buy it again in a heartbeat infact my daughters saw how much fun the boys were having and said they wanted it to and even though i wont get it in time for christmas i will be ordering it for them. Great Product!!!!!!!!
