My 6 and 3 year old love this toy. My husband played it with them and mentioned that he was actually enjoying it too. It's easy once you get them set-up, especially for the 6 year old. I also like it can keep them busy for an extended period of time because it involves various steps - pick out alien design, make mold, pour mold and dry. Then they create a living area for them in their lighted dome. It gives me 30 minutes of quiet time! Very well thought out toy.Customer Review: Fun Gooey Time

We bought this for our 4 year old grandson. His 6 year old brother liked it also. They love the goo, opening up or rolling the martians to see the ooze. They liked playing space ship missions once their martians were in their capsules. The 4 year old did need help understanding how to make the martians. The toy would have been better with a built in timer. The space ship comes with enough material to make a lot of martians. Overall a fun toy.Customer Review: Grandson Loves It

I bought this for my 5-year old grandson when his baby brother was born in January. (Didn't want him to feel left out when baby got so much attention). He comes to our house every day after school, and this toy is the first thing he goes for. He loves making different aliens with it. Had to buy him more refills for it because he used up all that came with it. I think this is the only toy he has ever had that has kept his interest for so long.Customer Review: Hours of fun!

My son played with this for hours at a time. It comes with plenty of material to make tons of aliens and is easy enough for a 5 yr old to handle with just a little instruction in the beginning. I was concerned over the mess factor but that was a nice surprise too. I only needed to cleana little bit of the playdoh type material from the table once he was finished.
I'll consider this in the future for birthday gifts as well!

I got this for my 8 year old daughter. She loves it! This is a toy that she can do all by herself, even her 5 year old sister uses it by herself. They set the kitchen timer for 3 minutes for the disectable martians or 5 minutes for a more solid form of martian. It took no time at all for them to get the hang of how to make the martians. I showed them once and they were off and making all kinds of them. I highly recommend this toy.
