All my boys wanted for Christmas was video games. I wanted them up and moving. This was perfect for them. I have a 12, 7 and 6 yr old. They all can work the guns just fine. My 6 yr. old plays the gun without the blaster attachment because it makes the gun too heavy for him to hold up. I thought the guns would eat batteries like crazy, so I bought the NiMh rechargable ones, and they have lasted 3 weeks now with pretty regular use. It's noisy and chaotic in the house, but I love that they are running and interacting with each other.Customer Review: Battery item to note

We purchased two sets (four laser tag guns) for the kids at Christmas and we have been running all over the house for the last month having a lot of fun.
Battery item to note: The battery life is great, especially if you know the following. When the six batteries appear to have run out of life and the gun is not working properly, you may only have to replace one of the six batteries. The guns preferentially drain one of the batteries in the pack of six and by replacing just that one battery, everything is good again.

I got this product after looking for something different to do w/ the teens (we've been playing Dart Tag). The Lazer Tag address the problems we had w/ Dart Tag - lights and sound when someone's hit and notifies everyone when someone is out.
The teens love it. Guns seem durable, accurate in targeting and the 3 team options + solo games is great. We also love that it can be played inside and outdoors, unlike Dart Tag. And there's no clean up other than putting the guns back in the box for next time.
We love it.

We bought these for our son's 9th birthday. If you only have one set and two people playing it's OK, but not great. Luckily we found the sets on sale half off and bought two more sets so he could play with a group of friends. They spent two hours in the woods behind our house playing. They all had a great time and surprisingly none of the guns ended up broke. Even my husband got in on the action. They even have a good battery life and our 11 year old liked these guns better then the ones at the local laser tag game place.Customer Review: Fun for the whole family

We bought two sets, and the whole family has had an absolute blast playing Lazer Tag. My kids are 8 and 5, and even the 5 year old mastered the game in no time. It's great to get everyone running around the yard at night (they also work in full daylight or inside). The range on these things is 300 feet or so, so you can play over a very large area. The TV game is so-so, but it's much more fun to play outside anyway. Also, I will say that the taggers have held up very well so far under typical kid conditions.
