Toys and Games Reviews of LAZERTAG Multiplayer Battle SystemCustomer Review: Okay, look... Summary: 2 Stars I was so happy when I first got this toy. I bought it over the internet, and waited days for it. I've had two other laser tag systems and I thought that I had finally found the perfect one. It has all kinds of features such as recoil (which is more of a vibrate), pop out core (read on, there is a problem with it), and other things. The guns go far BUT there is a problem.
The first time, one of them stoped firing. It would make the sound, but would not "fire" anything. I had to buy a new one. The second one I got was the "Nerf" version without the attachments because my attachments still worked. It was fun and I even organized a laser tag club.
One day, I was playing with my friend, and I reloaded. The pop-out ammo core would not go back in. So that one broke, and now I am writing this review. I realized something strange, though. The one that stopped firing AND the one that wouldn't recload WERE BOTH BLUE.
I'm not saying that the blue ones are bad or the orange ones are good. I'm just stating that that's what happened. It's just something to consider. My guess is that most of the good reviews are by people who just bought it and by now their guns probably don't work either. Just red this before you buy it.
