Customer Review: This is a slow-paced game with very few questions.
Summary: 3 Stars
Based on the game show "Jeopardy!" this game is pretty good at imitating the show, but the flaws that is has are huge and take away from the gameplay a lot. Just like the real show, there are 3 rounds: Jeopardy, Double Jeopardy, and the Final Round. The first two rounds consist of six categories with 5 questions in each ranging from easy to hard and ranging from small "price" amounts to high "price" amounts. The final round is of course one question that requires you to bet a certain amount of money on whether you will know the answer based on the category as your only clue. This all is great, but now come the downfalls. Like the other reviewers said the questions are just a sliding text that goes from left to right slowly. There is an option to make it go faster, but it is still pretty slow on the fastest possible setting. Also there are 3 possible answer choices at the end that you can choose from. If you take too long to guess, either the computer can guess or you run out of time. There is a way to skip the question, though, giving nobody the "money." Now, although the questions are multiple choice the questions are still hard, much like the show, and I find that I don't know many of them, which is a good challenge, and I have learned a little from this game. However, there are very few categories that just after playing a few times, I am already repeating several of the same categories, and this takes away from the gameplay a lot for me. Because of the difficulty, kids might be a little too challenged by the difficult questions. Also, because of the speed, I have to be willing to sit down at least 30-45 minutes just to complete the entire game, and there is no way to save. Therefore, it is quite tedious to finish just one game. Overall, this is an OK game for "Jeopardy!" enthusiasts, but if you are looking for a quick mental game to play, look elsewhere.
