Toys and Games Reviews of Jenga Game

Customer Review: A well thought-out and enjoyable game
Summary: 4 Stars

Jenga is great fun, as long as you have the right number and the right type of people to play it with. It is a twist on the classic Jack Straws game, where one item has to be removed without the stack collapsing. The difference with Jenga is that the removed wooden brick then has to be placed on top of the pile! The degree of dexterity involved means this isn't suitable for the under 5s, but other than that its appeal is very wide. The blocks are durable and the game is easy to pack away and set up. You might get bored with it if you have too many players as you have a long wait for your turn, but three or four people is the ideal. Recommended.

Customer Review: Fun on its own, but better when combined with other games
Summary: 4 Stars

I played this game a few times over the years, and it's fun, but not exactly something I felt compelled to own.
Many years later, I came across Jenga again, but this time it was combined with a horror/suspense role-playing game. If you like playing RPGs, but don't like being held down by stats, die rolls, and rules, I'd suggest checking out the Dread RPG by Impossible Dream (tiltingatwindmills.net).
Whereas in other horror and suspense RPGs, you can say "my character is feeling scared", in Dread, you can look at the swaying tower and feel as scared as your character is.
Now a Jenga game is a "must-have" in my game closet!

Customer Review: Don't make the blocks fall
Summary: 5 Stars

Jenga has always been one of my favorite games to play since I was a kid. You have to construct a vertical tower using 54 wooden blocks by putting 3 on each row. Then that's when the fun begins. Everybody who's playing has to take turns taking away one of the wooden blocks from anywhere on the structure, and then putting that block that has been removed at the top of the tower. Whoever makes the building fall is the loser.

Jenga can be a lot of fun for anybody of any age. It's one of the funnest games out there and if you're bored it's really great, you'll never get tired of playing Jenga. I recommend anybody to get this game.

Customer Review: Another way to Jenga!
Summary: 5 Stars

1. Tape as many Jenga sticks together with masking tape on one side to support a favorite picture that you would like to turn into a special puzzle.
2. Have your child find a any picture they would like to turn into a puzzle (even a favorite photo can work.)
3. Glue whole picture to opposite side of masked taped Jenga.
4. Shellac and allow to dry
5. Use excto knife and cut the picture apart.
6. Remove tape and voila`--your own hand-made puzzle!
Even toddlers can put a 5 piece puzzle of an animal or fruit together and they love creating their own puzzle! Enjoy! Aloha!

Customer Review: wow!
Summary: 5 Stars

i have to say...this game is great! i am 13 years old and at my birthday party there was nothing to do! i pulled out jenga and everyone was having a BLAST within 5 minutes. i was so worried that everyone would hate my party but it turned out that it was all that my friends talked about the next week at school. i wanted to just say thank you so much for advertising this game because there was nothing, and i mean NOTHING to do at my party but when i took out jenga...that all changed! thank you so much again!
