Customer Review: What's the point? Very dull

My wife got this for me for Christmas as something fun and silly. I opened it, took a look at the manual (yes it has a manual) and basically figured out that it's a very boring toy that is piggybacking on the iPod craze.
What it does:
It hears ambient sound and reacts to it in the form of spinning, wagging, light patterns, sounds, video game-type music.
Will play audio from your ipod or other device with included audio in jack.
What it reacts to:
Audio input from the input jack
Ambient noise
Pushing on the fins (wheel covers)
What's good:
It does what it says, plays sounds and lights when it is interacted with
Though it has wheels, it only spins in a circle, so you can put it on a bookshelf, and it won't go far.
What's bad:
Audio quality is very low quality (what do you expect though)
To discern what any of the "moods" are, you'd have to have the manual out... why does there need to be a learning curve with this silly toy, they should have just put some sort of lighted expression that change from happy to unhappy.
The music that it plays is lame and annoying. Everytime anyone touches the fins, it seems like it starts playing its own music, regardless of what sounds I have going in the background... If I wanted to hear music, i'd use my iPod, not listen to it's very basic video-game style muzak.
I guess my biggest peeve is that this has a very low replay value, lower than just about any toy that I can think of. In the end though, it is what it is.... on the box it doesn't look to be some amazingly interesting toy, it looks silly, and who knew... IT IS SILLY.
I can't give it a 1 star because it seems to work fine. And I can't give it 3, because it's just not very interesting for more than a minute or two, so I gave it 2 stars. If you or your kid have EVERYTHING... then get this, it'll be just one more thing, though.
