Customer Review: Counting, turn-taking and motor skills...

This is a sweet little game and my 3 year old enjoys playing it. I love the fine motor skill aspect of it - the fruits are tiny and you have put them in and take the out of a teeny basket. I also like that there are many chances to model being a good sport because there are lots of spins that set you back.
We have not played the team version.
Cons - LOTS of little pieces.

Our grandson enjoys this game and has played it in his preschool. I wasn't sure about purchasing this at first, but it has turned out to be one of his favorites and we play it quite often. I recommend this game to anyone with young children. The pieces are too small for tiny tots as they could choke, but for anyone over 4, it works just fine. This is a great game for children to learn the concepts of 1 through 10. Instead of numbers being abstract, the counting out of cherries allows children the tactile experience of numbers. It's a great game for adults to play with children or for older children to play on their own. Three year olds can be guided through the game and six year olds can lead it themselves.

My barely 3 year old daughter loves this game. It's usually quick so it keeps her attention. I would have given it 5 stars if the manufacturers would make it more aesthetically pleasing. The board is flimsy cardboard. I'd like to see it more colorful with a good sturdy board and spinner. Those of us who loved it as a child will pay a couple extra bucks for the upgrade.Customer Review: One of my favorite games

This was one of my favorite games as a kid, and I'm pleased to have found it for my 4-year-old this year. He's had a good handle on counting already, so I thought this would be a good introduction to games. He loves it, and I like the cooperative play version with the puzzle, too. I like that there are different colors now, too. Great beginner game!
