My son has several ride ons. When a family friend bought this for him for his 2nd birthday my initial thoughts were 1. oh no not another ride on and 2. he is a little too big for this. We did not want to hurt her feelings by returning it, because she was so excited about getting it for him. So, we put it together and he loves it! He now picks this over any other ride on he has. If he is happy than mommy is happy! The only things I would change would be to make the seat so a child can lift it up and to have an on/off switch for the sounds. Other than that, this unexpected gift has been a hit with my two year old!Customer Review: Cool

My girls ages 3 and 2 love the dump truck. I thought I would have a little more variety and at theses age they love pushing stuff around. I could not beat the price either. The sounds are quite enjoyable too, I love amazon!Customer Review: Not that fun for my 9 month old.

I just bought this toy hoping my 9 month old would enjoy pushing it and play with the shape sorter. He wasn't interested in it like I had hoped. He played with the shapes by themselves and didn't push the truck much. The sounds didn't really interest him much either. I was surprised because he usually loves sounds on toys. Needless to say, he is still 9 months old so he cannot utilize the two other features of this truck yet (walking and riding). I'm going to be looking for a better toy/walker. We bought this for our nephew and he loves it along with the other kids in the house (even though they can walk and are over 5 yrs old). He has many other walk behind toys that assist in his learning stage of walking, but I believe the truck like noises really attracts him. It is very durable and helpful in this learning stage of walking. It is a great purchase!
