My son is 11 months old and the height of the seat is just barely high. This is perfect for the child just about to walk or just starting to walk. He hasn't figured out how to pick up the blocks but we wanted him to grow into the toy so he will figure that out. Changing it from a walker to a seat is so easy that we do it four times a day. My 15 month old son loves this truck. He pulls it, pushes it, fills it up with toys, and can sit on it. The steering wheel makes great noises. We take it off and bring it in the car for him to play with while we travel. I see see him playing with this truck for a very long time. As he develops he will discover new ways to play with it and i'm hoping it will stay one of his favorites.Customer Review: Tonka Truck

I got this for my one year old and he enjoys it. It seems to be very sturdy and well made. My only suggestions is that for kids just learning to walk, an adult will need to play with them with this toy. It's just to easy for them to push it and have it get away from them resulting in a crash on the floor.
Otherwise the noises are fun and it's a good Tonka product.

We bought this for my little boy who is learning to walk. It is a nice, heavy truck to walk behind. My four year old can also ride on it. It is well-made and makes lots of fun noises. We bought this for our nephew and he loves it along with the other kids in the house (even though they can walk and are over 5 yrs old). He has many other walk behind toys that assist in his learning stage of walking, but I believe the truck like noises really attracts him. It is very durable and helpful in this learning stage of walking. It is a great purchase!
