We purchased this for our 16 mo old son. He loves spiderman, he won't take his slippers off so we thought he would love this. All in all we like it, he keeps going back to it even after another toy is opened. He stands up and dances around as spiderman sings his songs. He isn't too interested in the microphone, but as he realizes what it does he tries more and more. At first we were unhappy with the microphone, thinking it was more of a battery operated type thing that would amplify his voice. But soon we realized it is easier than needing batteries for another toy, since all you have to do is talk into this microphone and it echoes your voice nicely. His 4 year old sister has decided she likes this microphone better than the battery operated Bratz one she received. I know this may seem obvious, but make sure you take it off demo mode with the switch on the bottom of the foot. My husband thought this was just for volume and we were frustrated that the songs were very brief, not in their entirety. Then I checked it over and realized that it wasn't a volume switch and switched it off demo and now it sings and talks more. This really is a very entertaining toy for little ones who like to sing and dance.Customer Review: Great for little Spider-Man fans

I bought this for my son's 2nd birthday and he absolutely loved it! He is a huge Spider-Man fan, and he carried this toy around with him for days. We got a lot of smiles from strangers at my daughter's soccer game when he was playing with this in the crowd. Just FYI, the voice Spider-Man sings with is a child's voice - I think I was expecting it be a man's voice. It didn't bother my son, but might bother an older child ... it's more like baby spiderman.
I rated it 3 stars on durability because it's built solidly but, after a couple days, the voice stopped working on ours. He still dances and moves, but there's no voice - not sure what the problem is. My son still plays with it, but misses the singing. We're returning and getting a new one. The only other negative is that the motor sound when he's moving is loud enough to be heard above his singing, and that whirring sound can get annoying after a while.

Wow! Our grandson loves this and takes it everywhere; it is a favorite toy. He loves the songs and their new words. He loves to take the soft spiderman everywhere he goes in the car, to church, and finally to bed at night. It is my pleasure in life to know that we have gotten a toy for our grandchildren that pleases them. Now for a link up: Hope you will take a peek at the book that Norman illustrated. I bought this as a gift for my 3 year old son who had seen its' commercial and had been singing the Spiderman song non-stop. He was thrilled that it looked and worked just like he had seen on the television. He didn't need any explanation on how to use it at all. The buttons on the feet are easy to use and the microphone doesn't take batteries or anything so it is good to go right out of the box. My only minor gripe is that the movement of the hands is kind of weird but that doesn't bother my son at all. He just loves it!Customer Review: Finally a spiderman that works!!

Last year we had purchased Hasbro's "Itsy Bitsy Spiderman" and had nothing but problems with it. We finally ended up throwing it away. So when a family member bought this for our 3 1/2 year old this Christmas I was afraid we were in for another disappointment. Much to my surprise, this toy has proved me wrong. It is much more durable than the other spiderman, and he loves the microphone. The microphone is not battery powered (which is OK with me) but instead echoes your voice. I am glad that this was purchased for my son!
