I was surprised at how much fun this toy was - both for my son and me. My son has enjoyed it, and I have actually plugged earphones into it and strummed happily along for an hour or two.
The strumming feature works nicely. No, it's not strings - but what do you want for the price? It's a winner.

The Hasbro guitar was not exactly what I thought it would be. The guitar was purchased for a 9 year old and when the product arrived, it was much smaller than I had anticipated. I would recommend the product for a 5-7 year old. The guitar is very nice and the sound quality is very good.Customer Review: This rocks

I purchased this for my four year old son and he loved it. Learning was too difficult for him but he loved the Jam function. my 10 yr old found it easier to follow the learning. It's not Guitar Hero it's not meant to be Guitar Hero. this is an alternative to guitar hero for smaller kids.Customer Review: I think I've played this before.

It was called "Guitar Hero". It had basically the same concept and this time it was a video game, just this time it was much easier to use, it had more kickass songs. I dunno about you, but that's OK. I got Guitar Hero III for my XBOX360. I think I'll pass on this Hasbro junk.Customer Review: buy this before u buy real guitar!

too difficult for 12 year old son. so glad we spent 20 bucks before purchasing real guitar for hundreds. son was 'dying' to play guitar... after struggling with this one, he sees it is not so easy to play an instrument. i am sure he will pick it up again when a little older!
