I received this to think that it was just a tool and toy.. I was wrong, the sounds are authentic, and the playing of it is less trouble then a real Electric Guitar... Yes I am 28 years old, but I hooked this pupppy up to my distortion peddle, and man it sounds great, and I also recorded alot of riffs on a tape through Four Track... GET THIS TOY, NO! NOT TOY, BUT A MIRACLE!!! I thought I would never play Black Metal, until I used this!!!Customer Review: My grandson loves it!

I bought this for my grandson, for his birthday. He loves it! Unlike his "Guitar Hero", it doesn't require that he be strapped into a computer game for him to be enjoying it, either. He can be anywhere around the house and have fun with it. He and his friends are having a great time learning to play the electric guitar! The only negative I have to say is that physically it is smaller than anticipated, but that isn't a big deal.Customer Review: Better than I hoped!!

Bought this for my nine-year old for Christmas. At first, I was doubting whether it was a good idea, but as the days have passed and my son has had a chance to play with this, he LOVES it! Actually, his aunt, my son and I all were fighting over who got to play it next on New Year's Day. The games are fun, and this gives my son the courage to pick up his real guitar and try to strum a few chords. Great toy!Customer Review: Great starter guitar for any child!

We got this for our (almost) 9 year old son for Christmas and it was a power HIT! He strummed on it for the majority of the day. I love how you can hook up earphones to it so that it doesn't bother anyone else. You can also hook an MP3 player up to it and play along, which was really cool! Maybe he'll be ready for a real electric guitar in a few years time, but for now this is perfect!Customer Review: Good fun with a benefit

This was a gift for my son that was, in all honesty, a little bit of a guess. He is six and just starting to get into music. The Power Tour guitar was perfect. The fact that he can experiment with the guitar sounds, listen to his music, and even learn a few chords has kept everyone interested. We have had it for under a week so the durabbility is unclear, but it seems decent.
