My boys wanted guns for christmas because my teenage brother wanted guns for christmas. Seeing as how my sons are more than 10 years my brothers' junior, I was not in the mood to compete with browning. After the recommendation of a friend from work, I checked these out and am I glad I did! For two hours CHristmas morning, my boys chased my brothers around the house, shooting eachother, gathering ammo, and shooting again. The targets on the vests made it even more adventurous and I dare say the 18 year old had as much fun as the 6 year old. Safe, inventive, so much fun, I recommend this toy for anyone who loves to shoot guns.Customer Review: Toy works well be careful if you have smaller kids

My son got this toy and loves it. He is 8. The gun works almost too well in my opinion. The darts shoot really fast. I always make sure he keeps the safety glasses on while playing (they are included in with the guns). My son loves to play with these with his friends/family. Now that it is winter, and it has to be played inside, I always make sure any smaller children are out of the way. This toy is not meant for children under 5 and it is hard for smaller children to understand why they can't play. My only change would be that the gun didn't shoot so hard(it hurts if you ever get hit with the darts).Customer Review: Awesome Boy Toy

I purchased Hasbro Nerf Dart Tag for my 10 year old son about 1 month ago and unlike all his other toys, he hasn't put this one down. He has the best time running around the house with his best friend, hiding and shooting each other. I've even put the gear on and played. It's pretty fun and what a work out! The darts aren't quite as soft as I expected them to be but they sure aren't hard enough to hurt anyone. I do suggest buying an extra bag of darts so you'll have spares. This toy is great for indoors or outdoors. I think this is one of the best toy purchases I've ever made for my son.Customer Review: Nerf Dart Gun - fun!!

Loved this product for myself and my twin 11 year old girls! It's quite a hoot, but don't buy it without getting LOADS of extra darts (not supplied with the guns). I've had to order extra darts separately from an ebay seller. In the first INDOOR game alone we lost 10 of the 20 and have slowly been finding them. I wouldn't attempt to play this outside as the darts would be GONE!! So, we kept to an indoor game and tried to keep the darting contained, but still we need plenty more backup darts. This toy is great, and will get your little guy and his friends playing OUTSIDE happily for long stretches. Forget video games, this toy provides fitness and fun, with all the playdate chaos moving outside in a rush of laughter and running around.
My nine-year-old has had his set for a year or two, and it's the first thing he and his friends grab during playdates. This year I'll be expanding his arsenal. I'm genally a pacifist, and against "gun" toys, but I'm also all for getting kids to be active and not so sedentary.
