Customer Review: Fun way to hear your downloads

When I bought an MP3 player for my son I was looking for a speaker so he could listen to his music in his room. I was happy to find the I-CY because he is all about being a boy and his sister already had the I-Dog so I jumped on this option. I like the I-CY better than the dog, it flaps it wings and lights up to the music. My son played with that with our MP3 player before he ever got around to asking us to download songs on his player. My nine-year old wanted the I-CY for Christmas. So far it has held up. Although we hooked it up to the ipod nano, the I-CY will work with any sound. We put him by the TV speakers and got a kick of I-CY flapping his wings and lighting up.
The I-CY is very simple to use. Just add batteries.
For twenty bucks, it's a good value and satisfied my son's wishes. I am so lucky he did not ask for a Wii!

I absolutley love my penguin! He's so cute with his flapping flippers! I have him sitting on my desk at work where my friends stop by and play with him frequently. I am experiencing none of the problems previously reviewed. He rocks and flaps his wings consistently through songs and his lights flash in different colors in time with the music. I got this becasue my daughter wanted it. Apparently, you can plug your IPOD into it and it plays music while it flashes lights at you. She seemed genuinely happy with it for a week or two and then her interest soon faded. The sound quality is pretty poor, like listening to a radio with lots of static on it. I think it probably would be more appealing to a younger child. My daughter is 13.Customer Review: I-CY

If you want to see it dance- it is okay, but if you want to use it as a speaker, forget it. The speaker starts crackling at about a 3 level volume on an MP3. I contrast, it makes some pretty annoying sounds so you will pay attention to it, which are loud. These noises that sound like the thing is dying will also play during your songs. Annoying Annoying Annoying.
