when i saw the commercial on tv for this, i was like OMG I MUST HAVE IT! after begging and begging my parents, they finally gave in. and i was kinda disappointed. u cant really do anything in this game. sure its ur "dream life" but not really. all u do really is go to skool, go to ur best friend's house and chat, talk to other ppl, go to the mall, get a job, sign up 4 activities, and go to the salon and stuff. i mean sure it sounds fun with all of those features but NO! so lets say u signed up for basketball in the game. all u do is "practice" it and not actually do it. its kinda an automatic thing. and when u talk to friends, O PLEASE dont even get me started with that topic. sure u talk to friends but u have options on wat to say to them. the ppl there are guys and girls. but its not realistic at all!!! sometimes, when u talk to a guy, they say all these girly stuff cuz thats the way its programed such as: "maybe i should put braids in my hair because she did" or " we should get a manicure together!" i mean come on!!!! seriously, that aint normal. just plz do urself a favor and dont get it no matter how cool it seems, cuz its NOT. cuz ull be disappointed...Customer Review: I think it gives pre-teens bad ideas, no offence but...

When I saw Dream Life on Tv i was like "i soo want it!!" but then i read all the reviews and i agree with some of them. Like some other girls say in the game i get to do what i cant do in dream life like wear mini skirts and have boy friends. Well i don't know how that sounds to u but to me it sounds bad cuz thats not whats importiant in life. Sure i bet it's fun and I'm not sayn not to get it but u girls gotta realize it's a game! I just recently turned 13 and I don't have boy friend, and y should i care, sure maybe if u get a good one u will feel a bit loved, but come on! U have all ur life 2 wear mini skirts, have perfect hair and have boy friends! U r 8-13 yrs old! Ur kinda just wasting ur time playn this game cuz ur missing out on real life and growing up! Us girls just wana grow up 2 fast! I know! I was dieing to have a boy friend just to make me feel special, then i realized i have tons of friends family and God for that! As for u girls who say u have a ton of Best friends on Dream life, how about you step into the real world and make some?! This game is called Dream Life. You have a small console that easily plugs into your television. It even has a storage space for your remote. Once you plug it in, you create a person, the hair, makeup, and everything even skin tone is changable! A few things that parents like about this is that it teaches kids to use thier time wisely, and to buget and spend money wisely, and it even has after school activities. You can get a job on the game, and you even have school romance. They thought of everything! It's basically a mini life that can stop at any seconed. You have a closet that holds your clothes and accesories, you have a mall where you buy things, and if you study, you do good on tests, which allows you to buy things like a phone, cell-phone, tv, computer, etc. It teaches me to remember to do my homework and study, and my grades have been going up! On my report card before I got this game, there were three b's and a c. Now I get straight a's! So, I assure you, not only will your kid LOVE this game like CRAZY, but they will also take on much responsibility too! So, I HIGHLY reccomend this game for your child this Christmas!Customer Review: Addictive!

Okay, I have a confession to make: I'm a college student and, to put it simply, I love this game. It can apply to a sixth grader as seamlessly as to a college undergrad with its perfect mix of schoolwork, relationships, responsibilities, extracurriculars, and--for a fun component--partying and fashion, all through two "yes/no" buttons, four arrows, and three "a/b/c" buttons. Sounds impossible, right? How very wrong you are.
I've spent hours at a time sucked into this game and having the time of my life. As previous reviews have stated, it addresses the need for balance in the life of a typical teen. Yes, it's fun to party on a Friday night and to splurge on that new ensemble at the mall boutique...but where is that money going to come from? Chores, jobs, report card rewards (which means studying)...and where are those invites going to come from? Friendships, relationships, making an effort to branch out to everyone no matter what they look like or how they act.
This game touches on a dozen of key aspects of life that I wish I'd learned much earlier in my teen years. I give it five stars!

I loved this game. Plug it in and play right away! No need to buy an expensive game console, or wait for it to load into your computer! just plug it into your TV or VCr and you play! the jacks are even color coded, so you don't have to worry about plugging it in wrong!
You can make yourself, your best friend, and your room. You can even get a boyfriend! so far, I have only seen two boys though. to get them to be yours, just talk to them. then go to your best friend. if she asks you if you have a crush on so-and-so and you say yes, that guy will have hearts instead of smily faces.
I have tons of friends and way cool fasions. there are even Converse shoes!the sad part is that you never really do anything with your boyfriends, unless you're at a party or dance where you can dance with them. And also, extra-curricular activities, you can sign up for them, but you never see yourself actually doing the activity.you never actually see yourself unless you change their clothes actually.
I just got it today, but I played it for like three hours. I really love it though!
