The Rose Petal Cottage set of role-play toys are a great idea from time past. The only negative statement I can say is that it is very hard to find the different pieces or that Hasbro has not invested more money into making more pieces each year which to expand. This set is great, easy to clean and easy to store...well, as easy as any toys are to store. Forget about looking and getting the pieces in the store, cause it just 'ain't happening' as the old lady says! Boy and girls ought to be encouraged to role-play with these toys. Rose Petal has ventured into having the outdoor garden stand with vegetables and such. I stand by what I have said,'Hasbro needs to supply the demand on the cottage and nursery toys before venturing into another relm.' The whole collection of Rose Petal Cottage are so cute! And overall well made besides these products. These are cheaply made! Plus the changing table does nothing. To me, Hasbro should make a draw to hold diapers and clothes for the Baby Alive wet and giggles and other Baby Alives. Then it would tie in and market better. Over all I would purchase all the other items that go with the rose petal cottage but would save my money on this item and purchase a different crib set. The crib is very cheaply made and does not come with a blanket or a mat at the bottom so you can see the cheap plastic at the bottom. Both me and a friend are reselling ours. Hi Amazon and customers,
I am deeply disapointed in your pricing level on the rose petal washer and sink. Don't you think 80 dollars for 4 pieces of press board and a plastic top is a bit extreme? I have also watched you raise the price of this item all week. Just so you know we bought the crib and changing table at Walmart for $21, not really what it was worth but a lot closer to reality. I shop at Amazon to get bargains and I have learned thru this experiance that your more in the habit of gouging consumers and manipulating prices, rather than saving them money. From now on I'm ordering from Borders! Cya guys! Good luck during the recession!

When I put it together then I knew why it was on sale, however the sale price was too much! The plastic edging doesn't fit; it is shorter than advertized. The baby changer has no bottom and both items are very cheaply made! My daughter (27 months!) liked it at first then after a few hours complained that one of her 14" dolls would not fit. She thought she could put clothes in the baby changer and was disappointed when she wasn't able to. She shortly stopped playing with it and I plan to return it to Toysrus! Would not recommend. I purchased this for my 20 month old daughter as a Christmas gift. The product, like all the other Rose Petal Cottage Accessories are durable and the perfect size for her. I love this toy line and better yet, so does she. My only complaint about the "nursery" is the lack of play options, I suppose you would call it. It literally is just a box for the changing table and a cradle. It is cute and does match the line but I do wish it had a drawer or shelf, etc to allow more "play"
Overall though, I love this series for the younger toddlers.
