Customer Review: CUTE! And boy, does he have to go....

We bought our daughter this baby boy dolly (she has a little brother) to aid in her potty training. She has been potty-trained for some time, but she seemed to have taken a few steps back for a while. Instead of buying a toy that practices using the potty (which she already knows how to do and had been doing with great success for quite a while), we asked Santa to bring her her very own baby to care for.
Again, being that she has a little brother, a boy doll seemed more than appropriate. And she loves to feed him his bottle of water and watch him pee. And my son, oh he just gets crazy giggly when the baby kicks his little legs.
I hadn't really paid much attention to this doll come Christmas - with all the chaos, etc. But one afternoon, when my daughter and I were playing with him, we watched him pee. I had imagined a little trickle....more like a firehose!!!!!!! He really, really, REALLY pees!! So stand back moms (and dads)!!!
I have heard suggestions of buying a bulk-size pack of newborn or preemie diapers to replace instead of the ones made for the doll. We still have one diaper left (we've been air-drying it). But I certainly agree that is the way to go.
It's a very cute toy. And guess what?? Potty-training issues are a thing of the past...not completely sure the doll helped, but hey - it's worth a shot! Just stand back!!

Little girls can experience all the joys -- and responsibilities -- of "mommyhood" with this amazingly lifelike doll. Baby Alive "drinks" juice, and then "wets" his diaper, just like a real baby! When "mom" gives her baby doll a bottle of water, the doll will wiggle and cry. That's your cue that it's time to change the diaper. Once he is changed, squeeze the doll's bracelet and he will coo and play to let you know he is happier in his dry duds.Girls can also use the included washcloth to clean and care for their doll, and the included rattle helps keep him entertained.
