Toys and Games Reviews of Hasbro Baby Alive Wets 'N Wiggles DollCustomer Review: My daughter is 9 and she STILL plays with this doll... Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter is 9 and she still plays with this doll. She has two Baby Alive dolls (the other one eats food.) This doll is simpler to handle, which was really good when my daughter was younger; and after about a year she asked for the doll that eats food and poops! I thought this Wet n Wiggles would be left to a dusty corner of the closet, but, no, she takes care of them both. Occasionally, she even laments the difficulties of taking care of two babies (just like a real mommy) but never turns them off. ;)
She named them both and takes good care of them. The dolls have been around for 4 and 3 years, respectively, and I suspect they will be for much longer. I'm crocheting sweaters for them for xmas and buying diapers, per my daughters request.
Customer Review: Cute baby Summary: 5 Stars
My 5 yo daughter wanted this for Christmas. I wouldn't let her have the regular Baby Alive because I think it has an ugly face. Anyway, this doll is much cuter - but watch out when you take of the hat, she doesn't look that cute without it. As far as the diapers go, my daughter much prefers to take the diaper off and put a towel down and watch the "pee" come out. Regular newborn diapers do fit just fine, I wouldn't waste the money on the baby alive refills. She does make cute sounds, and not too loud either. My daughter also got the Baby Alive accessory pack that is a backpack that the doll fits into like a carrier and she has toted her all over the house.
Customer Review: Love this toy Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter loves this doll! Great fun doll... of course I don't use the baby alive diapers because they are generally $1 a pice... so we use other things like newborn diapers and it is still fun... my little 2.5 year old will wrap up the diaper just Like I do when I used to change her. We love the doll, and the best part is... you can make it silent! so when you are sick of hearing it cry and giggle... you just turn her off. of course the best part is to see her pee... I think this will be a great help with potty-training her.
Customer Review: Older girls love it too! Summary: 5 Stars
My [...] daughter bought this doll with birthday money she had been saving after playing with her friend's doll. Both [...] girls love their dolls and would recommend it for other "big" girls that still love playing Mommy. You will want extra diapers (maybe even making cloth ones since the pee is really only water). The diapers provided lose their sticky after a few changes. Just a reminder to skip store bought, disposable diapers and help the environment (there are enough diapers in landfills already).
Customer Review: Great Doll! Summary: 5 Stars
My 4 and 1/2 daughter got this for Christmas and she can't put it down! It was love at first sight, actually since she first saw the TV ad in November.
The doll makes a lot of cute noises, and really seems to drink the water out of the bottle. Of course, the liquid comes out the other end, so you will go through the included diapers fairly quickly. Your young one can now confront the issue of environmentalism and possibly switch to cloth diapers!
