Customer Review: Great game but little glitch

My daughter who is 4 really enjoys this game. However, there are far more boy faces than there are girl faces. Therefore, if a person asks the question, Is your person a boy? If the answer is no, then many of the characters are illiminated right away, making the game go too quickly and giving the person asking that question an unfair advantage. It really is a silly mistake by manufacturers. It is supposed to be for kids 6 and older. Any 4 or 5 year old will quickly find out that asking what gender the character is can illiminate most of the choices if the character is a girl. Does this make sense? It's rather hard to explain, but worth mentioning. I wouldn't highly recommend this game.Customer Review: Great Game Poor Quality

My 6yr old played an older version at a relative's house and was excited to use his allowance to buy one of his own. Sadly, it was a waste. The cards constantly fell out of place, making game play difficult. Also the plastic pieces broke because my children (who are in NO way destructive)continuously replaced the cards. After about 2 rounds they asked to put it in the donation box for the Salvation Army. If any good came of it, it was the discussion I had with them about only giving away nice things, not junk, to charity. The game went in the trash... where it belongs! And they wrote a long letter to the manufacturer. We were mailed coupons to buy more crappy games. Thanks guys!Customer Review: Guess Who durability?

I remembered using this game w/ kids many years ago--it was their favorite and was used frequently w/out any problems. It is also a great game to work on focus and reasoning. I purchased it this time and one of the frames was defective, which meant that I had to order another frame from Hasbro (which they are kindly sending free of charge). I have used it several times with my patients and each time, some of the individual frames become unhinged and the flow of the game is interrupted (then it works on frustration tolerance!). It is my hope that increased usage will result in a little more durability. I truly enjoy playing this game with my 5 year old. She has greatly improved her reasoning skills while playing this game and asking yes or no questions about their physical appearance to deduce the character on my card. It helps her observation skills and, it has also exposed her to pictures of people of differing ethnicity. That allowed us to have a conversation that helped me teach her how to properly and politely describe their appearance, potentially avoiding embarassing episodes down the road. You never know what a child that age will say and where they will say it, so it was an unexpected benefit of this game for it to lead to that conversation.Customer Review: Poor construction! =(

I remember playing this game as a child and wanted to share the fun with my children. Unfortunately, we couldn't even play it because of how poorly constructed it is. First, it comes in a million pieces - I'm not complaining about putting it together, it was kind of fun to do it with my family. However, after putting it together, it did not even work! =( The parts that flip up and down (with the faces on them) do not stay up. In addition, the "hinges" don't stay together very well and that makes it difficult to flip them up and down.
I would buy a different version of this game next time... one that has some quality construction.
